I just had a wonderful lunch walk: sunshine, no clouds, light snowfall from the surrounding trees, -10ºC. Steam rising from the one hole in tghe ice on the river - where the current is too strong for freezing.
No BBQ though - the steam is way too cold.

you really need to come visit texas in the winter. We're already using my pool...

The BBQ season in northern Sweden will start May 1, when hopefully all the snow will be gone. We now have only 50 cm on the ground ...

During the past days most of the snow has melted - we have only approx 10ck (4 inches) left on our front lawn. The mountains of snow (some more then 5 meters high) are melting tremendously fast . none is more than 1.5 meters high.
Still: the BBQ season will start May 1, the pre-season will start tomorrow!

What are you crunching these days?
It seems to me that the boinc community has become a bit more silent than it used to be (less breakthroughts recently, less new projects). I'm talking about the general siutation, not TA.

Anyone in for a TAC race in May?

There is too much to do in RL. Therefore less posting from my end of the universe.
But I crunch on - mostly PrimeGrid, Collatz, WCG, SIMAP, Seti@home, Aqua, CPDN, GPUGrid, MW and Rosetta ... just for the fun of it.

Today, BTW, we had our first outdoor BBQ. It was only 7ºC warm (or cold) but the BBQ gave enough heat for all. Salmon, chicken and beef ... :thumbsup:

Well, I think people are very busy right now, in RL, or in crunching, tuning computers, taking care of their loved ones (I hope), or just enjoying life more than the forum. And that is good.

Yes, very busy here too.
Two daughters with birthdays this month, and we like to celebrate.
One of my MG cars got hit early in the month by the neighbor in a hurry to back up so I'm working on fixing that up. Still crunching seti and checking in but not posting much.
Now it's been very rainy so it's hard to get much done outdoors.
