I will be doing an open-fire BBQ tomorrow. Just for the fun of it and in freezing weather (it is -2ºC = 35.5ºF).

Isn't 0 degrees C = 32 degrees F? I'm failing at Celsius. Regardless, cold for BBQ, but I would join you. Won't be having any open-fire things any time soon here in Texas.

Glad to see this thread is still here! I have recently left my job after 12 years and things have been very hectic. I now work for America's Oldest Brewery in the packaging department. Hands on and no longer driving a desk.

Yeah, but I can not find "your" beer in Sweden

Yuengling is currently sold in 14 US states, from New York to Florida and just recently in Ohio. I don't know if they have international aspirations, but we can barely keep up with domestic demand at this time.

Don't worry Petrus, I can't find it in Texas, either. We have shiner, however, and that's good enough for me!

This beer looks like it would go quite well with just about any BBQ.

I'll be in Detroit in January and DC in April, can I get it in either of those places? If not I have a buddy from Pittsburgh, I'll see if I can get him to bring me some at those meetings.

Why drink Shiner, when one can has limoncello. (Sorry, can't drink beer. I do miss Chimay Premiere (red label)...

And I have recently found out that it is impossible to find good results while searching for "6 & 6", otherwise known as the most horrible watch schedule that one has to stand while underway.

You...can't...drink...beer...???? WTFOMG????

How do you eat BBQ without beer? And how could you kill a bear with your bare hands without the liquid courage provided by a nice, wholesome brew? And what about college? Don't you have to dunk your ring in a schooner or some such to graduate?

Yuengling should be available in DC. Not as far west as Michigan yet. They have several varieties. Traditional Lager, Light Lager, Premium, Premium Light, Black & Tan (a 60/40 mix of Porter and Premium) Porter, and Lord Chesterfield Ale. Occasionally they do seasonal specials, Octoberfest and Bock. Usually these are available only in draught.

I subsitute limoncello or Bushmills for beer, and all of the above instances go just fine.

My wife's cousin was just talking about shooting birds in his backyard on Thanksgiving. Hmmm, maybe I'll ask him for a recipe... watch out RT, we like our BBQ spicy!
