The shoulder cannon isnt as hot as moltein steel all it is is an explosive weapon that blows out fire with full force. if thats the case that the T-850 would of died from the T-X's plasma blast ( which is more powerful than predators. ) T-1000 didnt die in that lake of hot steel. On the alternate ending of T2 he rose out of it after Sarah lowered the T-800 into the lake of hot steel to melt and die. T-1000 played posom and rose out of that steel and killed John connor then he teleported himself back into the future... Until God gave john life again. T-1000 even survived being thrown in the sun.

T-1000 has sharp knives he shapeshifts into. far deadlier than what alien stabbed him with.....LOL

terminators are relatively basic technology; they were developed in the year 2000~ish and were defeated by the time John Connor is 30, so make it tech from the year 2040, and that's stretching it.

Predators are a space-faring race. Their weakness is their pride, and they have shown to give prey they respect a fighting chance. the Terminator's weakness is their inherent stupidity, and why would a Predator give any respect to a machine.. just gun it down from afar, while cloaked, with laser cannon.

Predator wins, hands down.

What makes you think the predator's cloak would work against a terminator? It seems like it works by disrupting the visible spectrum of light; terminators would probably have the ability to see in infrared, and could still track the predator through a heat signature. Unless the cloak also somehow cools the air around the predator, I wouldn't think it would be effective against the terminator's technology.

But the predator would still win.
