Actually, I think the predator can probably adjust the intensity of the shot and turned it down to just hit the gun, not destroy it.

Besides, thats the "normal" shoulder mounted laser. There is a much larger, much more possibly powerful one that the AVP preds have.

The standard shoulder caster from the game and the movies was not power-adjustable.

Utter speculation. Just because 'you think' its 'probably' adjustable doesn't make it so. Why would the predator have chosen to shoot the gun out of arnolds hands when he simply killed everyone else in the movie weilding a gun? He wouldn't. We can only go by what has been in the movies so far, and so far I've seen nothing to suggest the shoulder cannon is that powerful.

The Predator has more than one vision. He doesn't just have thermal. He'd kill him instantly, especially with that laser mount and everything.

[edit] and if there's one thing I expected from us geeks, it's the knowledge that Predators don't show up in Infrared Vision. You need Technology Vision to use it. I can garuantee you that there's a different vision to see Aliens too because of their blood. And I bet we'll see it in the movie. How many of us here have played Aliens vs. Predator 2? You can't see them, you need the special vision mode to see the predators when they're cloaked. Remember, they don't have our blood. Terminators were made especially to kill people, that's why they have that vision. Predators were made to kill everything.

I'll difinitley have to say TERMINATOR because a TERMINATOR could probably kill anything with living organs,also mentioned someone said a T-1000 would win but not a T-101/1-800 well the T-800 defeated the T-1000 lets not forget so if the T-800 was able to come on top somehow with the right weapon to destroy the T-1000 and cause it to fall in maltein steel and die,I dont see why the TERMINATOR couldnt kill predator easy,seeing in T1 The T-800 punched through a mans stomach at the beginning of the movie and ripped his heart out. predator wouldn't last,it be a good fight but i'd have to give this one to TERMINATOR/T-101/T-800 its defeated all other TERMINATOR's like in T4 it ripped a T-600 in half and the T-600 was a foot taller than the 800 and the T-800 ripped it apart like a toy and killed a half human/half TERMINATOR which is marcus,yup TERMINATOR wins hands down i rest my case.

Anyone with a DU round (including a Predator) could take out a Terminator. (See season 2 of SCC when Derek Reese pretty much blows its head off). I'm sure a Predator would have no problem.

Predators can also manipulate light (thus becoming invisible),... Skynet manipulates time.

Much like humans, Predators also still have tribal mindsets (as seen in Predators).

Terminator. I don't think the Predator's normal weapons are potent enough to sufficiently damage a Terminator, it would have to get really lucky. It would be a long fight, and the T-101 would lose most/all of it's flesh, but in the end it would be the winner 4 out of 5 times.
