Bernie is your typical limousine liberal.. And no, he isnt giving 70% of anything. He wants YOU too. YOU are the ig'nant youngster who buys his nonsense because you dont know any better.
When did Bernie make more than 10 million in a year? Do you understand how the income tax system in the US works?

No shit Sherlock and they get far more in services in return.
Have you lived in Europe? One example, in order to see an expert doctor, you literally have to make an appointment months in advance so alot of people abuse the "emergency room" service. I remember people from Holland going to Belgium and vice versa thinking they would be helped faster. Turned out both had the same waiting line problem.

Medicaire for all is more like Mediocry for all in Europe.

Do you really think there aren't many poor people in Europe? Do you really think everybody is getting decent healthcare in Europe?

Again, regulating healthcare and education entities stricter would be alot better than thinking government will do a magical job.

Yet, their healthcare gets better results than what we have here, how do you explain that away?

Have you compared outcomes and costs in our medical system with Europe’s? We have the most expensive system in the world both in terms of total dollars spent and cost per capita yet our outcomes are middle of the pack overall.

Now back on point. Yes I would expect tax rates to increase on the middle class to pay for health care for all and more funding for education. I would expect far larger increases for those who make far more than the middle class as well.

I agree healthcare is too expensive in the US and this applies to everybody, so why not try to regulate the healthcare and education systems stricter?

Somehow the only option for the left is to let government run it all and than think everything will be better.

Somehow the only option for the right in this country is to ignore what already works in dozens of other countries because reasons.

If that would work, don't you think another country would've tried it? It won't work here because too many in power are bought by the medical industry.

It's not the top percent, thats absurd. The problem is with the 0.001% who have the power and wealth.

Having lived in Europe, what I do know is that socialism eventually leads to middle class paying higher taxes. Just compare how much middle class pays in most European countries versus middle class currently in the US.

Socialism starts with hating on the top 1%.. it results in middle class paying higher taxes.

Funny because I've lived in Europe too, and Asia extensively.

And why is it if socialism is so terrible, Europeans don't want to immigrate to the US in mass numbers?

Instead it is from capitalist economies where there are multiple billionaires (China, India, Mexico) that people tend to immigrate to the US the most.

You've been had.. political drivel, nothing more.

Do you really think taxing only people making more than 10 million will bring in enough money to pay for all that free stuff Sanders promises?

If in all European countries I know middle class pays higher taxes then middle class in the US, than I am pretty sure there is a good reason for that.

Seriously, middle class will be hit the most in return for "free" everything.

I've lived in France, the Netherlands and Greece, and your anecdotal evidence is just that. It isn't back by any data and it's also in direct contrast with my anecdotal evidence, I've had three operations and any time I've needed to visit a specialist for something that wasn't urgent my max waiting time was a couple of days.

Why do they immigrate to the US if the US is so horrible according to you?

Maybe you're missing an important element.

The top 60 corporations pay $0 in taxes combined due to the crony capitalism system we have in place where they can just buy politicians and reduce their own taxes while the middle class has become the working poor and is now paying 37%.

Does that seem fair to you?

Does that make it seem like Socialism is the problem or Crony Capitalism?

Your mixing companies with individuals.

I never said companies shouldn't pay taxes.

I am talking about the top 1% meaning US citizens.

Because of unemployment due to automation and globalization.

Capitalist thinking: Why pay someone in the US $15 an hour when you can just pay someone in vietnam $2 a day and import stuff?

And blaming the victim.. you need to work harder.

Take your average chinese food shop for example.. guy working 996.. his wage is garbage compared to someone working in an American Chinese food shop as a chef.

Whoosh, jump a bit faster you might catch the point.

The only point in the post you quoted was Felix being dishonest about that 70% figure and how it would apply to Bernie’s current income.

I already said taxes would go up for the middle class. I believe in taxing and spending as opposed to the GOP philosophy of cut taxes, borrow more, and spend more.

Except the top 1% own corporations and they pass off their income as corporate income and tend to hide profits in offshore bank accounts.

It's all linked.
