Having lived in Europe, what I do know is that socialism eventually leads to middle class paying higher taxes. Just compare how much middle class pays in most European countries versus middle class currently in the US.

The top 60 corporations pay $0 in taxes combined due to the crony capitalism system we have in place where they can just buy politicians and reduce their own taxes while the middle class has become the working poor and is now paying 37%.
