Law suits can be filed. The judiciary can stand up to him. He can't fire SC justices. He can say shit, he always does. SFW. He can ignore their decisions. There has to be a solution to this. At the very least, the judiciary can declare his actions illegal.

Trump's administration has claimed that they abide by court decisions, and that's looking like lip-service a lot of the time.

We most definitely are in a constitutional crisis!

You know fealty? Trump seems obsessed with it. He loves to watch people show their loyalty and fealty.

And he's got his DOJ targeting those he doesn't like; those that disobey him; he wants to prosecute anyone that is against him.

He sounds obsessed with prosecuting those who offer any resistance to his plans.. so he'll turn on the people soon enough.

Before long, half the country will be against him.

No, I still don't get this at all. They didn't say anything he does is legal, they said he can't be prosecuted for things he does in the line of his duties. That is very different from legal and they have to make that clear in some forthcoming decisions. I expect they will.
It makes it effectively legal. Can't hold Trump in contempt of court when he ignores judgments he doesn't like because they're official actions. Don't know why you expect the supreme court that created this mess to fix it.

He realizes (he's said so privately) that 1/2 the country hates his guts (his words).

I don't expect them to fix it but hope they won't shy away from making it completely clear when he's not complying with their decisions. Congress has to take notice. And the people, of course. The consequence may be not much more than resounding defeat for the Rs in 26, but that will be beneficial.

Perhaps the Supremes can hold him in contempt of court, but they may do nothing by virtue of it, i.e. not allow prosecution. Or, they could reverse course and rescind (or effectively ignore) their ridiculous decision concerning the insurrection. Why should the court obsess with being consistent when the executive branch clearly couldn't care less?

How'd that work with Kilmar Abrego Garcia?

Example: Presidential pardons are part of his duties. Trump can and would sell pardons. That would clearly be illegal but because pardons are PDs you can't even bring up the pardon in any criminal proceeding so that means you have no case.

I really dislike the whole pardoning thing, both federal and state. It's crazy.

This makes the most sense to me...

Fund managers quietly fear Trump doesn’t have a tariff plan and that he ‘might be insane’

Some fund managers concerned ‘that the White House is not acting rationally, but rather on ideology. And some even fear that this may not even be ideology’...

Maybe they should have thought about that before hooking their cart to the trump horse?

Was looking for a more up to date timeline (April) but even this is telling. Behavior of a petulant kid who engages in tit-for-tat squabbles with ppl. Its a juvenile reactionary mindset, is it not?
