The issue is China, if they see Putin pulling more than expected, slash half of Russia and bye bye access to the pacific. It can turn the dream into the darkest nightmare ever. And the first true loss of Russia.
Pulling more what??

In the past less-intelligent Republican voters have said they don't need Obamacare because they have the ACA.
You see the same thing with some Medicaid recipients. Because states sometimes rebrand their Medicaid programs to reduce the stigma associated with it, or any other reason, some don't understand that their state-sponsored plan is Medicaid, and Medicaid cuts will be devastating for them.

Thats the point. Nobody does, or can.
No, what I meant was I don't participate in any of those. For instance, I have never bought or owned anything branded Apple (that didn't grow on a tree), have never subscribed to Netflix, etc. I did a one year stint on Prime, but like the Raven said, "nevermore."

I was kind of freaking out because my first math midterm at UCLA I got a 70 on. One thing to blow my chem midterm because it was my weakest subject but another thing entirely to screw up a math midterm in what was by far my strongest subject. Was in a probability class taught by a guy fresh off his Ph.D from Cambridge and I guess he gave us a Cambridge level exam because turned out I had one of the highest grades in the class lol (everyone else I talked to in the class got 20-30 on it). Best teacher I ever had though was the world famous Terry Tao. The Terry Tao who was studying group theory and calculus at age 8. Nobody knew who he was back then though and he was younger than all the grad students in the class when I took a topology course from him. Yet we immediately all knew we were taking a course from an Einstein level genius and that he was 100% going to win a Fields Medal (which he did a few years later for a mindblowing result called the Green-Tao Theorem). Dude had this ability to take these crazy ideas from topology and real analysis and explain them in a way that made them seem obvious. His exams felt easy because I learned so much in his course but it was a ton of work. Still love reading his blog.

Another thing I loved about the math department at UCLA was the professors knew we were all broke as hell so a lot of the courses they'd assign textbooks that were $5 to $10.

When were you there? Now I'm worried I mightve been your TA for chem 🤣

Would love for any Trump voters to post about how the market crashing is affecting them economically in a negative way. As compassionate progressives we just want to help.

We just want to help get your story out there so we can all laugh and enjoy your suffering, while we all suffer. But at least that will be some delicious and tasty justice and lovely schadenfreude in the world.

Help us, help you, to help us.

LOL now I'm definitely not saying so you can pull my exam and embarrass me here! I found out you guys have to have photos or something of the exams after my linear algebra professor accused me of cheating because I had the right solution on my exam that apparently he didn't read (he fcked over half the class because he was lazy while grading). Only bad prof I ever had at UCLA btw.

This would mean a 109% tariff on Chinese imports. Effective Wednesday.

Someone with knowledge of spelling and grammar (and arcane knowledge of the secret location of CAPS LOCK) posted this tribute to China under Krasnov’s name.

Yep! .... 104 - 109% tariffs on Chinese goods, it will be apocalyptic. A lot of businesses will shutter overnight.

Putin’s using the internet to convince 40% of Americans to destroy America will be the single political masterstroke of our era, one which will be studied for the next 500 years. Vladimir Putin bet his life that American voters would be weak and decadent enough to return Donald Trump to the presidency. He was right.

Trumps biggest supporters know the least about him. They brag endlessly about how much TV and internet news they watch/read, and yet, they still remain fundamentally ignorant of almost everything about Trump. Or they know and just play dumb. That’s a level of ignorance you just can't fight.

There are only three possible explanations as to why Americans voted for this man:

They wanted what he promised;
They didn’t believe what he promised; or
They didn’t understand what he promised.

Pick whichever rationale you want, because it doesn’t matter. Whatever the reason was, it exposed half of the electorate. The 77 million people who voted for Trump were exposed as either fundamentally unserious, decadent, or weak. And no empire can survive the degeneration of its people.

Trump is into breaking things. It ends when everything is broken. The pendulum swings until someone with a hammer and nail sticks it to the wall.

Milo Yiannopolis (remember him?) says that Real Men long to work in the sweatshops.

So what’s this wanker’s “job”? Why do I suspect he fell for one of those advance-fee fraud emails?

I’m just surprised by how quickly the message went from “You’ll be so rich you won’t know how to spend it” to “your children long for the mines”.

They're all trying to get ahead of what's about to happen. And no I do not think it is going to work.

The MAGAs are dumb, but I see now they're dumb on a much deeper level than I could have ever imagined.
I've been saying. MAGA is a Church. There is religious fervor for Cheeto Jesus.
The basis of it is living in a fantasy story. Which ever one favors their absolute power of tyranny.

The faithful sit through the sermons. They know what their master tells them to know. And nothing else.
