Tariffs didn't even started yet, is the Trump Regime really so weak?

Yup, it only works where there is no opposition and no reality to block it.

Congress majority doesn't care about the constitution, so that's an easy win.

Global economy not so much, as you can't dictate investors, China, EU and other large sovereign nations...

In the end the tariffs will die. The question is for how long will the show go on and how much have it hurt the US and global economy while doing so.

We are developing Level-4 Automated Driving System for Public Transport Buses. The software is up and running in Europe with European OEMs. Guess what is happening in the US ? There is no significant production of Coach Buses in the US. This is the core Automotive and there are only two and a half producers in the continent, sitting in Canada !

China can take more pain than we can on this front. Once inventory depletes over here people are going to lose their minds and Trump will have to go to them begging.

Yeah, if China didn't have multiple other potential markets I think things would be very different - a substantial economic slowdown for China could be destabilising for the country and the regime.

But it seems as if the global numbers are on China's side - they have other places they can direct exports to, while at the same time, if the idea was to single out China as a target of a trade war, the US has (with typical Trumpian brillance) managed to alienate and anger every potential ally.
