Well here is my real life example of tariffs. Had a contractor come out and bid on a house project in early 2025. Decided not to do the project. Now, 4 months later, asked the contractor for updated quote and the price is 30% higher.

My favorite part about that interview was when he was like 'Biden would never sit down for an interview with Time'. When Time responded that he did just a year ago Trump immediately claimed he knew and that he had read it and that Biden was terrible in it.

Just immediate shift to new lies with no acknowledgment the original lie even happened.

And when called out on this, Trump told a person they're getting their info from a bad news source. CHINA has came out and said "there's no deal" and Trump's still trying to blame CNN for reporting it. I'm sure if a reporter showed Trump this exact tweet, he'd somehow turn it into "fake news I've made all the deals."

And with all the Tweets from China, Canada & Mexico saying otherwise. His loyal followers still believe him when he says he's made hundreds of deals here. While I don't doubt he's made some, it doesn't matter for shit that Kazakhstan & Kazakhstan are on board with his shitty tariffs. And knowing how stupid Trump is, he got trolled by Sasha Cohen dressed as Borat and Kazakhstan isn't in agreement.
