Don't you think it would be a waste of time for me to try and convince you of something that you are never going to believe? Going by the polls, support for impeachment fell after the evidence was presented. This indicates that the People are not convinced, especially the vanishing few who aren't consumed by party politics. It's not a good look for the Democrat's effort.

A significant portion of the population has been fed agitprop for decades, so 50/50 is a good sign. The Democratic leadership itself is acting out in a position of fear (i.e. maybe it'll end up like ClinTON). It was like pulling teeth getting Pelosi to back it, which is definitely not indicative of partisanship. They were basically forced to act because we can't let it stand that a president can corruptly ask for foreign help in our elections.

How did I fail at reading comprehension of a 1 line post detective sherlock?

Tulsi gave a neutral vote. You wanted a for impeachment vote. Thus, you expected a "you're either for us or against us" vote.

Your partisanship has clouded your judgement young padawan.

This isn’t the type thing one can slide by without an opinion
Wiggling a no opinion vote just looks weak and very Mitt Romney like.

You do realize that the concept of "If you're not for us than you're against us" line of thinking is right up there with cult-based thinking, right?

Just making sure you realize it...

You think there is grey area in rejection of Putinism? I dont.

Seems to me she has no backbone to take a stand for or against......what a sad president she would make!!
`
Let me spell it out for you again—the issue is that Gabbard voted “present”. A “yea” OR a “nay” would’ve showed more courage than “present”. She came across as weak, indecisive or indifferent in arguably one of the most historic votes of this decade.
Cowardice Under Fire comes to mind.

Not what people are saying, genius. If she really thinks no then vote no. She is being a coward.

And no other marketable skills either.

What's so great about this job ppl are willing to sell their soul and countrymen out to keep it? :/
Nice retirement bennys after 5 years of serving, at age 62 he'd get $139K/yr. That's pretty damn good for only 5 years of work/service. And most are addicted to the feeling of power.

I'm curious how a person can feel "meh" about the president using the power of his office to influence foreign governments to interfere in the American presidential election. I agree, there is a lot more that could have been included, but I don't see how what was included was insufficient.
Trump’s polling has been fairly stable throughout. Now that he’s impeached and depending on how the game of chicken turns out between Congress and the Senate, those polls might shift. When the media interviews people who are on that fence, “meh” seems to be the response.

Even Yang cautioned the perils of the impeachment process because it places Trump at the center of a contentious narrative, one he might emerge from stronger.

ZSo you agree that Tulsi Gabbard is a coward under fire, with no backbone and as such in your eyes would make a great President????

Whosy Whatwhat is always doing this. Even when the Republicans shut down the government because of a tantrum about something they couldn't get, she blamed "both sides."

Literally no one said that. Do as requested, and go back and read. You are placing your own assumptions on what people have said, because you frequently don't actually understand what people are saying. Further, you never seem to be aware how little you actually understand about what people are saying in these posts.

This is no great mystery. Gabbard is being actively groomed for an independent run by being gaslit into believing she has broad bipartisan support. To preserve that imagined support, she stayed neutral.

How this isn't more than obvious to everyone is beyond me.

Damn right a "serving soldier" showing cowardice under fire should be demeaned.

Shame on you for suggesting otherwise..
But but your criticism of a congressperson who served is somehow more polarizing than the President who attacked a Gold Star family.

I doubt that she believes she has broad bipartisan support so much as that, like Van Drew, she has been made promises regarding her political future in return. Grifters gotta grift.

I'm a retired Army Infantry veteran with multiple tours of duty. I think I'm more than qualified to criticize her.

MY service will NEVER absolve me of any responsibility for acting in a way that is dishonest, negligent or treasonous to my country.

Nor will it absolve me of being a fool for allowing myself to be gaslit into being a spoiler for an election.

You really think she's going to jump ship and run as an independent? She's polling a solid 1%, I just don't see where she'd get any major support, and the freight train full of cash needed to campaign.
