"Journalists love mocking Trump supporters. We insult their appearances. We dismiss them as racists and sexists. We emote on Twitter about how this or that comment or policy makes us feel one way or the other, and yet we reject their feelings as invalid."
A good article, and I see the attitude here in many poster's behavior as well. It's a time for navel gazing and reflection, folks.
It was fun rubbing your noses in how wrong you were, but we're all in the same boat, looks like the mid terms won't do much, but in 4 years, we have another shot at getting it right.
The DNC needs an infusion of fresh blood with some ethics (and perhaps some lessons in email encryption) and folks willing to put their ear to the ground and listen to the voters, rather than assume everyone just agrees with them.
Being the first one to shout racist, bigot, homophobe et al doesn't make it so, perhaps being a bit kinder and gentler with a hint of humility will work better.
Anyway, done with the drama with you-all for a while, watch and learn, and good luck in 2020, maybe consider not running Hillary again, her turn is over.
One final moment of zen, listen to a bit of the rant, then skip to the last minute, it's the kind of crap CNN is getting known for...
