Hopefully anti-Trump voters are coming to the realization that a "protest vote" given to a dude with zero chance of winning is a complete waste. It will accomplish nothing now and nothing in the future, other than helping Trump.

Of course that's what some of my Bernie Bro friends said was needed in 2016, Trump could get in there and break the system so it could be rebuilt. In reality, all that did was help pack the Supreme Court with whackjobs that will be on the job for the next 30-50 years, way to go. It didn't destroy the hated system that "cheated" Bernie, it just made it worse.

I work at a university, so even though the state is full of Trumpers my immediate work environment trended way more left. And who knows how they ultimately voted, but I knew at least four that said they were either voting Trump or writing in Bernie, just to "burn the system down" (no pun intended) or some variation of that. Oh and "both parties are the same". Childish simplistic idiocy that can be proven wrong if you take ten minutes to list the platform positions of each. They were just super angry that their horse got "cheated" by the Democratic party and wanted more than anything to punish them. Yeah, we'll get young wankers like Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court for 40 years, that'll show 'em!

Video of a call between RFKjr. and Trump was leaked by the RFK camp. Trump called him to try to wheel and deal, offering him a position in his administration if he endorses Trump. He starts by buttering him up with anti-vax nonsense and ends by sharing what he and Biden talked about when Biden called him after the shooting. RFK says he is mortified by the leak. Guess we will see if he takes Trump up on his offer.

Trump’s team should be leery of a deal, which could land him in more legal trouble. It’s illegal for a candidate to “directly or indirectly” promise a future job or position “for the purpose of procuring support in his candidacy. But do illegal shit has never stopped him before *shrug*

I swear this guy’s whole schtick is to make some crazy oddball statement about himself just to see if anyone’s still paying attention every few months. Like clockwork. It’s almost like he’s inviting some kinda media pile on just to get the free publicity and remind everyone he’s still in the race without spending any ad money.
