Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to endorse former president Donald Trump, according to a new court filing.
The Friday filing in Pennsylvania said that Kennedy was dropping his opposition to efforts to keep him off the ballot there “as a result of today’s endorsement of Donald Trump for the office of President of the United States.”

The campaign of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is distancing itself from a court filing Friday that suggested that he will endorse former president Donald Trump.
“Mr. Kennedy has not endorsed President Trump,” Kennedy campaign spokesperson Stefanie Spear said in a statement. “The filing was made by an attorney and not reviewed by the campaign. The filing is being updated.”
The statement came as Kennedy was speaking about the future of his campaign in Phoenix.
He's a strange man. Though can't say I've ever trusted or particularly liked any of that clan, he seems weird even for them. Too much money does terrible things to a person.
Charles Kennedy was the only Kennedy I ever found at all likable (also, funnily, the only Lib Dem leader I've ever liked). And I don't think he's related.
It really makes me angry to see the social media posts about this. The gist of them is that the democrats are so bad that a democrat from a democratic family is endorsing Trump. Of course, they regret to mention that his family has soundly and publicly denounced his political positions. It reminds me of the old saying, "I saw JFK and the real RFK, and you sir are no RFK (as we knew him)."
