Do you enter in the memory settings in the top or bottom section in the BIOS? Such as 5-5-5-15. Referring to page 2-27 in the manual or page 28 in the PDF format.

What sold you guys on buying the P5N-E? For me it was the layout more than the features. 2 legacy PCI slots at the bottom of the board meant that I could use my 2 x Assus 7600GT Silent fanless video cards without obstructing those 2 slots. Thus I can still put my secondary audio and tv card on the board. The other thing was the 2 legacy IDE ports. Sure was handy since I don't have many SATA drives. The OC options are nice. But my buying decision was based on layout, speed, stability and noise (The less fans the better). Oh and price obviously

Will the default cooling or Vantec fan be better for the north bridge in terms of temperature with a mild OC? Either one will have AC5 applied to it.

Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum. I must say I like it!
Core2, I followed your guide and so far I have my E6300 running at 2.5 GHz. I installed a Thermaltake Big Typhoon. I love it, it's so big! Here's my question. I'm running "Core Temp Beta 0.94." It says core #0 and core #1 are running at 28C. Here's where I'm confused, it says "TJunction: 85C." Is this right? I thought Tcase is supposed to be at 50C and TJunction at 65C. Is there a better piece of software for checking the temperature? Thanks for the help guys!

I am running at (400x9)=3.6Ghz with 1.5v Vcore, 1.563v for NB, Memory at Auto, and Vcore Offset at +100mv but Orthos errors around 22 minutes. What should I do from here?
Temps: 42c for core and 34c for motherboard. This temps are from the Asus Probe.

Hard to say it could be your ram failing or you need more Vcore. That's a great start. Keep it up
