With all this talk of 333 FSB CPUs, and having just fitted a fan above the northbridge, I just had a play with an overclock...
Set FSB at 333, memory linked and synchd at 667 (same 4-4-4-12 2T timings)
Multiplier down from 10 to 9, so 333 x 9 = 3.0GHz
CPU volts moved from auto to 1.38175 (just to partially counter the huge vdroop, stock is 1.35v)
NB voltage left at auto
Memory passed memtest as I'd have expected, and I've just completed over 9 hours with 4 instances of Prime95 with no errors. So there it is, 3GHz of stable quad-core goodness, and temps stayed OK as well. I'm now running my normal apps under full load, and am seeing max 68C which is good for a quad core and within limits.
