can you help me for finding chip?

with that kind of OC i'd have to say micron but i am not totally positive

Is there any way to tell what all the Auto settings in the BIOS are really equal to at any certain time?

my default auto timings were 5-5-5-12 2T

I mostly meant how to find out what the auto settings were for the initial voltages without going through trial and error adjustments. Though maybe Auto is set at higher across the board than needed..

No, That why most of us set them manually The only one is the vcore voltage that you can see under Probe, speedfan, cpuz or the bios

Newegg has these on sale for under $250.00 (MIR). These are suppose to be made with these Micron chips:

D9GCT B6-37E
D9GMH B6-3 or
D9GKX B6-25E

SuperTalent 2 GB PC2-6400 DDR2 RAM (T800UX2GC4)

DATA Sheet: http://www.supertalent.com/datasheets/T800UX2GC4%20spec.pdf

The Crucial Ballistics BL2KIT12864AA804 use either the D9GMH (B6-3) or D9DQW (BT37-E) which are no longer made or not available unless your lucky. These are also $40.00 more

Update: I just read that the Super talents are now made with other than micron chips. Can anyone confirm this?

Love the release notes with the 0401 bios:
1.Reduce S3 resuming time.
2.Change CopyRight year from 2006 to 2007.

Hahahaha

Wonder what happened between 0202 and 0401?

Core2 you said you got your system up to 3.7?
Is it stable with Orthos or Prime for more than an hour? 4 hours?
Thanks man just interested to see how powerful that little chip is. My friend's got one and I want to see how far we can push his.

Actually 3.880 and I have plenty vcore and NB volts left

3850 481x8
CPU Temps

3880 485x8

3.7 is solid after that it is all fun

JonDom,
How you doing. Haven't heard from you in a while. Did you flash to 0401. The way you have been running no need to. I bought some Corsair PC8500C5 and now I too can run 1T smoothly. Keep in touch

Core2: Those are some impressive OC results. Have you run any SuperPI and what are your results at those speeds?

Thanks

Decided to change the name of the thread to reflect its content. I think it's much more helpful that it's original purpose though!

Hi. I've been browsing this thread for a while trying to get an idea of what I can do with this board. My original had the random lock up problems and I RMA'd it the day before I saw the black slot suggestion. Anyway, I've had Orthos up for nearly an hour at 1400/800. I seem to be sitting at about 48 C. I've noticed a lot of much more significant overclocks, but I haven't been able to get past 1333 stable. I'm not sure if I'm not getting enough voltage, if I'm running too hot, or what. This time around I took the NB up to the 1.5 setting and it seems to be holding up. I updated to the 0401 BIOS today, so I don't know if that is a factor. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thank everyone for all the information. Any feedback on my situation would be appreciated.

That's a very good OC for the Vcore if it's stable. I only have mine at 375 with an 8x multiplier (3.0GHz) and it needs VCore set to at least 1.4875V (and counting...) in the BIOS. I only have my NB at 1.39V though.

As a side note, the 0401 BIOS doesn't seem to like the memory settings I was able to get with the 0307 one. Though this might be due to more extensive stress testing, I went from 4-4-4-13-2T to 5-5-5-15-2T in order to get stable. Hopefully I can refine that a bit more, but I was expecting more out of the RAM/MB combination.

I will personally run some for you tomorrow. I probably did. I know Ryan and I were saying that we hadn't broke 16 seconds yet

Looks like I've got it stable at 3.2ghz. Also I have my memory running unlinked at 1000mhz and 5-5-5-15 2T.

My current best SuperPi (1M) with this config is 18.250s.

On a side note, is there anyway to flash back to 0202? I seemed to get better memory tweaking with that bios compared to 0401. I haven't been able to keep 1T very stable in 0401 and it was just fine using 0202. I tried to flash back but it wouldn't allow me.
