What type of Crucial are you using? I strongly suspect mine of having compatibility issues with the P5N-E SLI, and it's Ballistix 2x1GB PC2-6400 4-4-4-12, BL2KIT12864AA804.
Has anyone gotten Ballistix to work with this board, especially the part number I'm using? Again, I'm stable under the 0202 BIOS but only at ridiculously low speeds and timings, and I'm unstable under all conditions under 0401. And the memory passes all of the memory testing I throw at it.
i'm using the exact same ram, and have the same processor, almost same video card and i'm running 4-4-4-12 2T at 2.25 volts on the 0202 bios, also i'm running them in the black slots.. i hope that this helps out shapkahead.
Thanks, dlfcobra. One more question: can you tell me what batch your RAM is from? Crucial tech support said that one batch might be compatible, and the other not. I have 16FB3. It should say what batch you have on the sticks themselves, right after the part number.
Did you try flashing to 0401 or not? If so, any problems? How about overclocking with either BIOS?
