So this whole time I've been deleting treasure boxes (don't want to buy keys to open them) and giving away items I don't want - then I found out I could've sold them on the Steam Marketplace even for .10 or more... listed some items including my immortal item Leviathan Blade and it sold instantly...D:
I still don't understand what the Compendium is even about/for. Can someone please explain?
How much did you sell your Levi blade for?
Personally I would have kept it for a few months and then sold it; the price will spike up after the international 2013 event is over and nobody can get a box for the $10 reliquary any more, similar to how the dragonbone pudge hook sells for over $90 right now, since it's no longer available.
I sold it for $10... I just want it to sell quick and get my Compendium money back...
I recently had a 10 game win streak, followed by a single loss, further followed by what is now a 9 game win streak. Most of the matches were in the High bracket.
Is this normal? My current record is 166-151, so a touch above 50%. Still though, the win streaks are unreal.

I think I might be stuck in what in LoL is referred to as 'ELO Hell'.
I think the only decent way to satisfactorily play this sort of game is to have a TEAM and play with them only. Like literally 4 other players that you know don't suck, and that at the very least, own up to mistakes they make. I can't stand the BS where people never own up to mistakes, or when they're all talk in terms of builds/strats, but don't have any basic game sense (like when to attack, when to retreat, when to push, when to defend, etc.).
My main weakness in the game is my knowledge of proper builds in every situation (hero combos, game scenario, etc.), but my game sense is probably much better than average, as is my map awareness. But really, I think the only reason I'm still improving is that I own up to mistakes, and never blame others unless it's actually their fault (which happens but not as often as most think).
The problem, of course, is that this sort of maturity usually comes with older age (late 20s an onward), which also coincides with when people game less or not at all, due to real life stuff. And if they do game, they can't commit as much time to it so the maturity doesn't get a chance to really shine through in the long term, not to mention reflexes and motor skills are slightly degraded which can make a difference when playing vs. much younger kids.
What I can't stand is when people expect you to be polite to them and own up to your mistakes when they're being a total douchebag. One of the games I played with the other day had literally the worst person I've ever played with. He wasn't bad, in fact, he was probably better than me, but every thing he said had either "fuck" or "wise and beautiful woman" or "retard" in it.
I'm still trying to figure out a way to auto-it a DOTA2 relaunch in case it crashes, and then auto-type the spectator command. Every DOTA2 forum I've read through had someone with the same request with no answers.
If you open the launch commands for Dota (right click Dota in Steam Library > Set Launch Options) You can type
-dota_spectator_auto_spectate_games XXX
This will have that command every time you launch Dota, but I don't know how you can have the application launch if it crashes.
