I was really happy that Orange made it the furthest of the Asian teams. They actually play the entire game and don't go into a farm-fest.
Them and TongFu don't do the "chinese dota" and are willing to do new stuff, I like them both.
It was a good tournament all around and I think Valve did a great job of trying to include the viewers in it as much as possible and hope to see them continue to with it more in the future (which I'm sure they will).
The one thing I didn't like was the "analyst" guys. Those 4 guys are ugh. The 2 ex pro players (more so the Asian one) were ok, but imo those 4 added little and in a lot of cases I would have not even watched the stream if it wasn't for Kaci doing lots of interview and behind the scenes things in between.
Kaci was fantastic I thought and made things a lot smoother with a lot of awkwardness that would have been much worse with a non professional journalist that couldn't direct and handle them.
I wish that there was more of an awards thing instead of them just running up on stage right after, saying like 3 things and just grabbing the Aegis.
It would of been really really cool if they had some kind of stats breakdown of various thing they could of went over at the end of the tournament as well. Like most used heroes, most banned, most successful/unsuccessful, which heroes didn't get selected at all, how many couriers died, etc etc etc.
A lot of room for improvement but it was really good regardless and look forward to next years.
