Oh I know. I've already admitted that you can't truly quit Dota.

But I really felt truly bored playing Dota today. And it's been like that in last couple weeks. I may come back, but I just gotta give priority to real life for now (lol, wedding).

Even if I come back, cosmetics mean little to me and it discourages me from playing.

I'll still be posting here, watching games, and /r/dota2 in full force though.

It happens, but yeah... focus on your wedding - don't want her to become a Bridezilla on you!

I have felt this way since TI started, and I was like this for a few weeks last year as well. It's depressing watching these coordinated teams play together and then see the crap you have to solo queue with. I have played a single game since the finals and my DS rushed a Vanguard, and my Viper started with boots and no regen (I was AA), then he rushed a Hood. Naturally, we were destroyed.

I've spent the last few weeks teaching a friend how to play, so between these types of pub matches I end up stomping some Hard bots.

I forgot how dominated Silencer can be can be last night until I got him in a single draft. They changed his clone in HoN, so he wasn't nearly as annoying. Laned with a Drow against a Puck and Venomancer. We completely destroyed them. They did have a safe lane Slark that started to be a problem, but our Russian speaking Leshrac did nothing but buy wards and not communicate so we did okay in the end.

Heh, Zeze will be back eventually, I'm sure of it.

I haven't been playing much either, but mostly just because all my gaming time was spent watching TI3 for the last week, and then Monday idiots at Verizon screw up my FIOS connection again. Had reliable internet the first year and a half living here, but just since July it's gone out 5 times now, each time it takes a couple days for Verizon to send over a tech. Maybe if they fix it in the next couple days I can play a few games this weekend.

Oh, and my RoH strategy is really paying off. Apparently my solo queue games are now in high elo.

Yes, yes. I'll give you the entire Dazzle stuff.

That octopus used to be rare grade. Valve downgraded it to uncommon, lol. Still pretty cool though.

To be fair, most of the TI3 teams practice up to 10 hours a day every day - they don't even need to speak/talk and they already know what has to be down or set up to layer skills and wombo combos...
