But my games are not much different than yours.

Yes teams are better coordinated, supports buy support items, gankers gank timely, & most know what to do with their hero & line up, etc... BUT:

1. Still fvckton of rage, intentional feeding, all chat abuse, AFKing, & abandoning. Sure, it's lot less than low level, but it happens on DAILY BASIS. It's still a pub game and there are plenty of rages to go around. This isn't some magical gentlemen's paradise.

2. Some still don't know how to play their hero- still buys not-as-efficient items, etc. "MY ITEM CHOICE IS BETTER THAN YOURS" is rampant at all skill levels. One of the last games, I played, I still saw Tiny that made Vlad as first item. Holy fvck, what is he doing at this level?

3. Snowballing & super one sided games exist. Why wouldn't they? People give up early, rage afk, etc.

Again, this isn't some gentleman's paradise where everyone plays with a different mentality. Sure, it is notably better (esp when I smurf), people are calmer, etc. But it's still not much different than ANY pubs and ALL levels.

You should play Captain's Mode if you want to take it seriously.

I don't understand the game well enough to do CM.

Like, some heroes I literally suck at (there are some heroes I still have not played even once, after all these years; complete lack of interest).

I'm disappointed to hear that people give up so early though, even at a high level. Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm a huge tryhard in virtually every game.

Dude, Tiny + Vlads is a heck of a lot better than DROW with Vlads.

Snowball games exist at all stages of play, even at the Pro level. Games 1 and 2 of TI3 Grand Finals come to mind, for example. It's an inevitable consequence of the way the game is balanced.

Oh one more thing: I definitely do play for fun. But winning and having good teammates is also really fun!

And even when you lose, as long as it was a good, high skill game, that is still fun. Losing due to noobs is not fun though.

Anyway, I just played a lawlage game where I was Slardar, and we were doing well at the start, so I just went 2 Hyperstones for the lulz (although 3 is even funnier... I've done that before, but I usually lose the game in those instances... we won this time).

So is it 0.6x0.65x0.65x0.65x0.65x0.65x0.65=0.045?

By the time you get the gold for a Butterfly, the opposing team may get a MKB just because you are PA not because you are going to get a butterfly...

AUS is still completely broken. Got dumped into low prio this afternoon because of forced abandons due to lag. Even now, it's a lot better, but still almost unplayable - on a server where I normally get 30-60ms lag, the lowest I got was 120ms with 15% packet loss. The worst was 1500ms with around 90% loss.

The worst part is when you're in a teamfight and you don't know if when you actually use an ability, it's going to come late because of the lag, or never at all because of the packet loss. It leads to a lot of flaming because you're just standing around doing nothing at all while your teammates are getting slaughtered.

I just played a game where at the start, I went to check out bot rune, and Rubick showed up and used Telekinesis to put me up on the ridge, and I was stuck for the first bit of the game. Never seen that done before. Has anyone else? Match ID 349067553

Luckily, we destroyed them in the end, and did it ever feel good (given the Rubick was rude and a troll trying to make me angry in chat).
