As much as I like to stay classy in Dota games, sometimes you just have enough. I just played this hilariously entertaining game, despite the loss... I really wish replays saved chat logs so you could see how I totally trolled the two players on my team (who were obviously partied up together). Trust me, they deserved it.
I was bot as Ogre Magi, and gave all the farm to Chaos Knight who I was laning with at bot on Radiant. He still managed to suck and die a lot, etc. Fast forward about 12+ minutes or something, and I politely suggested everyone gets TPs and watch the minimap so that we're not constantly caught with our pants down when trying to defend (the situation called for it imho).
CK reacts badly and starts whining that I'm not placing enough wards etc., and that I should "shut up and do my job" and other general BS (funny thing is, I was placing wards as much as possible given my limited income). Given he drew first blood, I began to give zero fucks, and told him STFU since he's 0-7. Enter his friend, Necro, who further tells me I'm wrong etc. The Necro who is 0-4.
This is where it gets good:
I feign muting them both. I then proceed to say really funny/hurtful things to them, and make fun of them every time they die in allchat - they wouldn't stop responding, all raged. The trick was to never respond to them or give any indication I hadn't really muted them. This way, I can get the satisfaction of knowing I'm pushing their buttons, and enjoy every moment, without giving them the satisfaction of "responding" to me.
I'd say things like "I bet 10 bucks he's raging right now, he's so bad..." and it worked perfectly. And lucky for me, a player on the other team confirmed he was raging, so I could use that as "intelligence" to further make fun of him by going "oh he's raging? I knew it, lulz" etc.
It didn't take long for him to start intentionally feeding. He would just run his hero straight into the enemy base repeatedly. Too bad I had already reported them both for verbal abuse (yea, call me a hypocrite, but I really don't think I am one... I don't tell people to stfu out of frustration because I'm doing bad).
Oh, Dota. Sometimes, I wonder why I bother.
