Got some Random Ability games going last night with some interesting combo. Had a machine gun dazzle that was pretty effective at killing, just squishy but surprised a lot of heroes early. Being late in the draft, I usually go skill + skill build instead of ult since almost everyone has picked their ults.
Dazzle I picked Bloodseeker's Thirst, Ursa's Overpower, and DS's surge, crazy ranged attack speed burst.
Then I had CK with Alch's chemical rage, Lifestealer's Rage, Gyro's flak cannon, and CK's reality rift. Had to farm a bit before he became almost invicible killing machine.
Last semi-fun hero was Gyro with Lycan's ult, Abaddon's Curse of Avernus, Centaur Stomp, and Tiny' Toss.
Saw some people pick abilities while forgetting that you definitely need another skill with like Luna's Ult and her Beam skill.
Kunkka's passive combined with BH's passive crit is pretty ridiculous too.
I will play some more tonight and see if I still like it. I'm a pretty picky gamer so the fact that I will play it again tonight is a good sign that I just might like it. Are there any heroes that are better suited to newbies?
Most certainly there are newbier heroes! Centaur, Sand King, Ogre Magi, Witch Doctor, Lich, Crystal Maiden, Wraith King, Venomancer, Chaos Knight, Tidehunter, Sven, Warlock, Lion, Viper, Vengeful spirit, and Slardar are some basic heroes. All of these guys are fairly one denominational in there game-play so it shouldn't take long to figure them out. Have fun and don't get too discouraged!
