Saw a Timbersaw play that was great yesterday iirc, can't remember who was playing though. He was Radiant top lane and was sitting on 2 unspent skill points, he was doing his thing and then 2-3 from Dire came to gank him, he was at the part of the lane where the river goes into it. Seeing he couldn't do pull himself at his current range and was about to die, spent his 2 skill points in it and pulled away and just barely got away. It was very nice and it was like he was anticipating that might happen so he kept the points unspent just in case lol.

I'd love to know what they did to the matchmaking about a week and a half ago. Ever since then, I've had some ridiculous teams. For example, my last game I had 3 people who were in their first 5 games on my team. The other team had all 500+ win players. How is this supposed to be fun?

All my games have been seeming to go this way, where it's a complete stomp. This last game I went 25-4 as a Sniper. I got 2 rampages.... with Sniper. Got Treads and Maelstrom in 10 minutes. Snowballed from there.

Watched the Alliance Roshan bait on my phone from Reddit while at work. Amazingness. It's like, every time they have a new way of setting up the bait, and every time the other team HAS to check it out because this one time, it might actually be legit.

This is why I love Alliance so much.

- Of course Nature's Prophet lost nothing because he already spent all his gold before dying to Roshan, and gave no EXP to enemy. AND he has global TP, immediately joining the battle for 5v5.

Good stuff. And of course, No Tidehunter is Alliance today (minus EternalEnvy).

By the way, AdmiralBulldog didn't "fake" dying, he actually died for real. It's just that as you point out, he'd already spent all his gold, he lost no experience to the enemy, and the respawn time is so short early on that it really was just a free TP back to base.

Doh - I forgot to sign up to twitch to do this as well and have seen reference to other people doing that with 4 screens up at once. I'll have to make sure to get that set up tonight.

I was just expecting more drops I guess; I had bought a ticket for $1.99 for a minor tournament about a week ago and had 3 drops from it over the course of a half day worth of matches. For some reason I thought that Valve would scale up the drops when they have tens or hundreds of thousands of people watching a game.
