I agree he isn't too hard to counter, but most pubs don't do that. They let him split push and farm all game then wonder why he is solo pushing a lane and getting racks while not being there.

The easiest way to win against any hard carry = try to end the game as soon as possible...

True but the same thing applies for any number of heroes. Drow is easy to counter; run in there and stomp her, negating her ult aura - yet many pubs just run when they see drow, which allows her to ice arrow you to death in the back while her ult stays active. Viper - same thing, pubs see Viper, run, and Viper whittles them down with slowing poison making it an easy kill.

Once you know that Earthshaker perfectly counters PL, then every game you see the opponent pick PL, pick Earthshaker, problem solved. Same thing with picking Slardar against Drow, or picking Axe against Abaddon, or picking Huskarr against Bloodseeker.

Any time you have difficulty playing against a particular hero in pubs, because you know the pub is disorganized, the easiest way to turn the tide is pick the counter hero, and problem is solved. At least that is how it's always worked for me. Of course in the very high level games, the teams know how to counter these hard carries from the get go, so it's not a big issue; this seems to chiefly be an issue in the lower tiered games.

DOTA 2 UPDATE

You can now search and add Friends from within the game without having to visit their Steam Profile. Visit the new Search and look up their ID. You will then be able to add them via their Dota Profile. If you want to share your ID with your friends, you have it readily available on the same tab.

What lies? SB was trash tier from what I can gather before his recent buffs. He was trash in HoN and I believe he was trash in Dota as well (but it has been awhile since I played a lot of Dota).

Every post you bring up up something about Zeze, even if you're not responding, and try and taunt with some kind of personal attack because he proved, with mathematics!, that you are in the trash tier of Dota players. Yet, you continue to offer opinions on things you don't understand. I don't go around giving legal advice for importing / exporting fruit because I've been out of the country a few times. You giving your opinions and arguing for them, is the same thing. You've played a few bottom of the barrel Dota games and now, since you did well, think you have some valid opinion on the validity of items and builds. Yet you don't understand the very basics of items and builds to even be making these arguments.

It's a "Captain Bamboo" panda thing, that's tournament edition. I see the unusual versions are all $200+ on the steam market, but the history shows they generally sell for $130+, so put it up at $150.

Now that SB has seen a few pro games and general opinion of him has shifted, your are trying to re-write history and claim that you were always saying he was strong. It's really hilarious, considering this forum thread is a written record of everything you wrote and anyone who has been around reading knows how your opinion has changed.

Heheh right now I'm mostly looking at some of the games I've wanted to play over the past year or two; chiefly there is a skyrim pack with a ton of mods, and a cool looking demon souls game that I heard was pretty difficult.

Yeah good point; I'm still wondering if I should have sold it for more. The "unusual" versions of the pet were selling for $200+ each, and I had some people in chat offering me 55 keys, and right when I was looking at my auction it disappeared and someone snatched it up.

Or you may also randomly get a booster pack of a few cards. Once you have the full set, you can craft a badge. This gives your steam profile "XP" and can increase your level.

Basically it's just tailored towards the collectors or achievement whores out there. If you have no interest, you can sell your cards on the marketplace for $0.10 each or so

Well the card stuff is 100% optional and even if you don't care about all the stuff you get by crafting the cards, simply selling them on the market is just free money in your account.

As for the Origin thing, it is a combo of things, the main one being EA wont sell their new games on Steam anymore and the fact it is EA and they are about as trusthworthy as a $5 dollar meth'd out whore.
