I was actually coming here to ask a question about the CPU fan header, but it looks like you might have answered the question for me before I posted. I have a Scythe 21F case fan on my heatsink. I want to connect it to the CPU fan header, just to keep things neat (no extra wires I don't need), but I wanted to make sure this would work, because I read in the manual that:
"The motherboard supports CPU fan speed control, which requires the use of a CPU fan with fan speed control design."
I don't think my fan supports this (?), so I can simply disable this "speed control" in the BIOS which will let my fan run at it's fullest potential without causing any issues?
