1001 exclamations! That's alotta posts.

Not to be a pillow pooper, but my lady got me one from Macy's for Christmas, and though try as I might, I really couldn't find a way to like it. Just too hard for my mushy nerd noggin, I guess.

Plus it's Costco, so if it craps out later on you can always exchange it.

Yay!

[edit] oh, and the one at costco is a Novaform, here's a link.

does this also take $25 off the twin?! Dammit I wish they sold twinxl!!! =(

from www.epinions.com
it seems the bed is horrible

one of them said they got back and neck probelms from the bed.
I thought the whole point of tempur-pedic was to make back and neck problems go awway.

can anyone comment on this plz
maybe atrac or spot dancer.

thanks for the headsup. i think i may look at the topper at costco tho. i have a cheapo foam topper on my mattress and it helps a lot. it seems the problem with the tempur-pedic is the top is too thick and bottom foam layers dont support enough, so a topper on a mattress seems like the better solution.

Is there any reason it would be bad to put one of these pillows in a standard pillowcase? I mean, I've got mine in the zipper case, but for aesthetic reasons, I'd like to put it in one of the pillow cases that matches my sheet set. Make sense?

the toppers are really great, the sensus one anyway.

but, after a while u will start seeing a groove were u sleep.

I find it more comfortable then helping my back.

The best pillow is still tempur-pedic

but for the price of one, u can get 2 or maybe even 3 sensus, and they r really kickass

i also like truesleep.

I hate the one at walmart.

I'm still using one I picked up at Sam's Club for $30 - about 6 months now. Made a big difference - never wake up with stiff neck anymore. Spouse thought Sam's Club one was too hard - picked up one at BBB that is softer (Iso-something) - these pillows have worked great. We'll even pack 'em when visiting parents.

Anybody here ever heard of a brand name called Enchantment's Ever Rest Memory Mattress Foam?

Cause my grandparents recent purchased a brand calle Tempu, but when the delivery guy got here they stated that the one they puchased was a floor model, and thats what they paid for, and since they also have a new but different brand with them, they will sell them the new one at the same lower price if they bought 2, after arguing for awhile, they gived them the choice of picking which ever one they want for that same price.......I feel like they were trying to cheat my grandparent's money but we have no way of finding it out, so just want to know if anybody ever heard of this brand and what price are they running at?

I don't know - IMHO (and you don't have to read it if you don't want to) the best is a nice overstuffed goose down pillow and a good pillowtop Sterns and Foster mattress. If you're seriously shopping around, give them a try before you make a final decision. If you still prefer viscoelastic foam then that's fine, these things boil down to personal preference.

i bought 2 sensus pillows and as i posted maybe 200 posts back i think they're too hard. id rather trade my two sensus ones for one brookstone. i only paid like 50 bucks for the both of them off of ebay though so no complaints.

Are you serious? do u own both?

I own cheap walmart one, truesleep, sensus, and a tempur-pedic from brookstone and i think the tempur is the hardest.

it makes sense to since tempur is 5.3 density and sensus is 5.0-5.3 density.

you know, not eveyone likes these foam pillows. my little brother refuses to use any of them, i even offered him the tempur and he hates it.

also, alot of ppl sleep on them wrong.

i thought u were suppose to put your head on the little end. put acually you are suppose to put ur head on the big end.

I acually dont like either. i have my pillow fliped over and i sleep with the big end upside down.

If the sensus was to hard, u might want to try isotonic(iso somethin)
they are less dense and give u that sinking feeling when u rest on them.

Alot of people dont like these pillows. I have let many of my friends use my real tempur-pedic when they crash the night at my home and they dont like it at all. they say it is too hard.

Its not the cold weather either, i like in sunny Florida.

but ALOT of people love these pillows, like parents dont know how they even slept without them.

But then again, i have watched alot of MTV cribs, and not one of them have any tempur-pedic products.

i say, if u never really notice any discomfort in sleeping, then why change?

I'll have to disagree with you on that!
If you buy the real "Foamex Sensus 5.0lb Memory Foam" ,it's kinda pink in color; it comes with a 10 year warranty to not lose it's shape, sag, etc. etc. etc.

Got my 3" topper at Mark's and am totally pleased with it.

I had been following this thread for over a year until I decided to take the plunge and invest in a quality topper.

One more thing, Have you seen the short info-mercials about the Tempur-Pedic mattress with Memory Foam in it?
Have you noticed that when the girl leaves her hand impression in the Memory Foam, how fast it springs back?
It's like 3 or 4 seconds! Do that with mine and it takes a hell of a lot longer to form back.
Just wonder on the quality of their foam.

That's my $0.02 worth. Take it for what you wish, but I hope you get the real thing!

Hi ToxicMussels

So u like ur sensus topper? but u disagree with me when i say the topper gets a groove after a while? i am confused of what u disagree with.

Well, i got my topper from ebay, a 3" one, it is pink and rolled up really tight when i got it. when i open it up it smelled really bad for about 3 days.

I acually dont have a groove yet, but from what i have read and seen, it will get a groove in about a year or so.

also, from what i understand, all the foam pillows are made from polyurethane form. The only thing different is how the foam is made. tempurpedic has a "secret" way of making it and thats what makes them the best.
I think sensus has some sort of super vacuum or something. the cheaper foam pillows have more air in them, thus they are less dense.
