Oh, you all is missing out bigtime.
Heheh, memory foam.....
Try water pillows!!!!
Much better fit to your head/shoulders, imho.
Everything moves out of the way easy, no resistance like memory foam, yes, I know memory foam "shapes" but there is still a good amount of resistance. And the water adjusts instantly.
The one I have is called Chiroflow Waterbase pillow, and was recommended by a therapist and neurosurgeon, so I sprang 37 bux.
You adjust the amount of water in it for the amout of firmness. It has a nice thick layer of DuPont padding around the water bladder. The water bladder is enclosed in a thermal blanket so you don't notice the temperature of the water inside.
This one is clinically proven to reduce pain and improve quality of sleep.
bwahahaha...memory foam....
Use ordinary tap water. No chemical additives are required.

Yeah, I bought one from Walgreen's. It sucked. I took it back a couple of days later. Save your money and buy one of the better pillows recommended in this thread. I just got the Sharper Image one. Takes some getting used to, but so far I like it. Now I just need a memory foam bed or at least a topper.

That's what I am using. You found a great deal on them. The line on the Isotonic is that they are less firm than the Tempurpedic. Even so, I would prefer the Isotonic to be a bit less firm than they are. They take some getting used to, and I am surprised when people report they like them the first night.

I'm in need of a new bed. Its kinda sagging in the center, a little lumpy, dirty, and smells a bit. I want to toss everything and start over. I'ld like to try out these mattresses that are talked about here but I don't really have a clue as in to what to look for. In fact I don't know of any places around here that sells something like this. They all sell regular beds which is what I have now. I don't want to pay a fortune either but do want the "true" feel of one of these setups so which is the best low budget brand to get? I noticed there are kits on the memoryfoams web site with different inches and different densitys (in lbs) for a twin kit. I'm not sure what would be the ideal one to get nor know if that kit is the complete bed or if it requires a box spring or something below it.
Heres the one which I was looking at from the memoryfoam web site:
7" twin mattress kit with 4" of foamex's sensus 5.0lb density memory foam and 3" of talalay latex price: $402.44
That is way out of my price range for something like this but I guess if I like it then I could live with paying that much for a bed. However I would really like to try something out before buying it especially if i'm spending that much money. Is this price worth it or is there much better ways to go? Heck I don't even know if that kit will require a box spring or not.
