This message board is filled with idiots who purposely ignore facts and there are liberals here as well, who most of the time deal in facts, does it make me a liberal because I don't agree with the idiots and I side with the liberals? I go where the facts take me and unfortunately for this board, facts from the right are rare. If you think you know me well enough then you should know that I think most Bernie supporters are the equivalent of trump supporters, uniformed, ideological, and heavily team oriented.

Whats the answer then bud? All the posts I've ever seen from you seem to support one side. So how do we come to the middle? Don't get me wrong we might argue but I like some of your points here and there. The same points I take to my conservative buddies and it gets em all riled up.

Of course. That's the one easy policy. Here's the thing, though. Even conservatives aren't entirely rational about it, and the liberal position is often misrepresented.

For the most part, Democrats do not want to ban or take away anyone's guns, but you'd never know that if you listen to any Republican campaign rhetoric or the gun lobby. Mostly, liberals just want what they call common sense gun laws, which generally amount to nothing more than slight tweaks to regulations. Things like closing the gun show loophole make a lot of sense but instantly draw an F rating from the NRA and in the eyes of many conservatives might as well be asking every citizen to turn over their guns. So why is that? Why is the conservative reaction to a seemingly simple, highly effective, and not unreasonable request so extreme?

Things like assault weapons bans and magazine capacity limits, even though they may be backed by certain data points, IMO cross the line where freedom is being restricted for little practical benefit. Much more than that, though, these types of policies are political suicide and Democrats should abandon them in all forms immediately. There is no benefit to even paying lip service to any of these gun issues really because people that want to restrict guns aren't going to abandon Democrats and start voting GOP even if the Democrats were to get in bed with the NRA. Someone who wants to step up gun control isn't likely to agree with any other conservative policies.

So there is your freebie. Here is me coming to the middle, hell, even going full blown conservative on an issue by saying abandon all gun control policies. Now, can you name even one other policy the GOP has right?

Some conservatives are more likely to recognize the danger of religions like islam because they still recognize the power of religion and human nature. Things the left now believes they are above, that they can naively transcend, even as the blood on the streets provides them ample evidence to reconsider, they can only double down on their utopian delusions.

The delusions have become so extreme that feminists now join in common cause with Islam.

It's sad youtube has become a propaganda tool used to reinforce confirmation bias to the extreme for the most negative aspects of and to the most ignorant in society.
