Yeah, I gave it a listen earlier. Oddly enough, it reminds me a lot of the music from Rurouni Kenshin except at a bit of a faster tempo. That's probably because Kenshin featured a lot of string instruments in its music too.
Heh, I think that music is mostly important if you play the games... it is the music that you end up hearing the most often.
personally i hated all the mega man music couldent stand the games either, never found them enjoyable

The Mega Man games were tons of fun back in the day. I would argue that the Maverick/Robot Master introduction theme is probably one of my most memorable video game tunes
ever. It probably helps that it's only about 5 seconds long, but it brings back so many memories!
Also, I still can't beat one of flippin' Ice Man's challenges in
Mega Man: Powered Up! (3D remake of the first Mega Man). Ugh, I've died so much in that stage that all you would hear is "Sooooooldier dooooown!" (Ice Man's death speech) every minute or so while I played for hours.
