At first I was thinking the show was going to be better, but 7 episodes of searching for Sophia proved the comics were better.
oh god leave the farm leave the farm leave the farm leave the farm
they have managed to make a zombie show into a particularly boring episode of little house on the pairie.
comic > show
Disagree?? Why??
Aren't the two so far diverged by now that we should really consider them separate stories?
I don't know how to read.
Therefore, I have not read any of the comic.
Hence, show > comic.
They have managed to make a zombie show into a particularly boring episode of Little House on the Pairie.
I wouldn't say so, not yet anyway. They are so far following the same plot for the most part as the comic. Yeah of course there are differences, but I guess it keeps me interested. That whole Sophia thing was dragging on for way too long though.
I am sorry Jeebus. You should look at the artwork of the comic, it is well drawn.
I hope someday you learn how to read, it is a great skill to have.

Thank you. I appreciate your concern and candor, and I will take your advice into consideration. Upon further reflection, I have decided to embark on the path of literacy. One day, I too will learn to read, and upon such day I hope to experience the joy of this comic.
Until then, boob tube for me.
I don't know if it's even really the same plot anymore. So many characters have been allowed to live, it's arguable that this "version", character-wise is now so different that it's not the same. Yes, they're following kind of the general flow for now but they've said that continuity with the novels is not important.
David Morrissey http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0607375/ is going to be playing the Governor. Not someone I would have expected for that part.

That's pretty nuts, what do you think of that?? Is that a good cast?? The Governor is a real bastard, can this guy really be that??
They're still on the farm? Gah. Stopped watching after the Sophia retarded plotline.
Seriously, I drug myself through the first season because it was only 6 episodes. I damn near stopped watching the season 2 premiere. I drug myself through the first half and so far the second half is just terrible. It's not a great show, technically speaking.
But, it is on AMC so it has legs. But seriously, you've only got two, three more seasons tops. And if they're all going to be 12 episode seasons, that only gives you about 40 more episodes from right now. Time to start moving some plot along.
Even though the comic is on two issues on the farm, it spans several weeks in the timeline.
So I just finished reading 1-12 of the comic. I have to say...
The show is superior in almost every way.
It has pacing issues. But the comics are rushed through too fast.
