I took the stabbing by Rick at the biters belly as a sign of contempt for the baby which took the life of Lori. :\
Hershey said something along the lines of "1/3 of our group gone due to one idiot" or something like that. If you count everyone up, I assume that means they lost 3 people last episode, and are left with 6 (before the 2 inmates).
^^I say Lori's death is still not certain, at least not the exact method. We don't know that Carl shot her for sure - Rick picked up what looked like a bullet which would have been in her body or embedded in the wall or floor or something. We don't know if that zombie Rick stabbed in the stomach ate her. She was going to die one way or another, I'm just wondering if zombie Lori is still in there somewhere.

Glenn wasn't counting the inmates and little asskicker as part of the group, and he believes Carol to be dead... So, from his perspective, 3/9 = 33%.Glenn said that, not Hershel.
and really they lost 2 (carol's death is not verified. Remember we didn't see that prisoner get biten/eaten so for all sakes anything that happens off camera can only be assumed)
So more like 20% not 33%.

On The Talking Dead, (this episode's) director Greg Nicotero confirmed that Lori was all eaten up by the walker that Rick found.Shooting lori was to prevent her from turning. She died. She bled out too much with the birth, and along with the shock of pain of being cut open with no pain killers.
She is dead. Only thing uncertain is if she is a walker or not. However, with the chunks of flesh behind, and that walker in there with a full stomach. It is very probable she is eaten and not a walker. However, not verified. Her death however, is verified.

As for Carol... He mentioned that two of the graves were full, and one was empty... And since we know that Lori was eaten, it implies that Carol and T-Dog's bodies were found and buried. If that's truly the case, I wish the show was more clear on this.
that doesn't make any sense if carol is dead. didn't they show her at the door with it opened, then look back at tdog as he got eaten, and go out the door?
