Anyone else at least KINDA miss Shane? He may have been an over-reactive ass but he brought a strength to the group that it almost feels like it's been lacking. Rick was the rational one, Shane the irrational one and the balance they had was great. Now, Rick is going nuts, has lost his humanity (proven when, whether intentional or not, he kicked out a clearly good group of people), and furthermore is chasing ghosts that he has now admitted are ghosts!! And back to the Rick humanity issue, what is he teaching his (clearly kinda weird) son when he sent those people packing? That all people are bad, that nobody deserves a chance in this world? He's going to turn him into a new Shane, mark my words. And that baby, don't get me started on that. The 2 seconds the baby was in this episode was just long enough for the story line to confirm that Rick has no connection to the little freak baby (in my mind) confirming that it is Shanes, or Rick is so convinced that it is it doesn't matter whether it is or not. Ok, that's enough for now.

</rant>

I hated that Shane died from the very moment he did; he was the only one on the show that actually acted like he had a pair of functioning testicles. Granted he went over the top, but it's better than the push-over try-hard that Rick was, plus Shane balanced out all the whining. I know Shane dies in the comics, but still, I can't imagine every character is such a whiny fucking twat in the comics, so there's probably not as much of a need for someone like Shane later in the comic books

It doesn't really fit, but maybe the scientist guy is the assault van driver. The Governor did ask him if he'd take a bullet for him...

But the body type just doesn't fit at all.

Scientist guy was still in town when Martinez and the Governor were gone (the Blonde asking around).

Driver's proportions also looked female...

Question, please answer without spoilers: is the walking dead comic still running or has it ended?
Yes, it is still running.

I really wanted to know who drove that "zombie bomb" van! All they showed was someone covered in armor head to toe getting out and running towards the bus by Michone, that's it!
I think you are looking for a twist that isn't there. I believe it was just one of the Governor's nameless minions.

I like how dead wrong everyone was on their synopsis of how this season would start off. Yest everyone is acting like they know what the heck is going on now.

Rick didnt kick out the other group. He was about to let them stay when he saw lori. If you look closely at lori up on the catwalk you can see there is something wrong with her face and how she is holding her hands, She is a zombie from what I can tell there. I know shes not in the later shots but there it seems like a zombie. The lower half of her face is always shaded and it looks mangled.

For you guys suggesting that the blond girl has a thing for rick I seriously hope you guys are joking. She knows the guy is dead tired, gives everything for the group, just lost his wife, is struggling with the idea of having a baby in this scenario. She is trying to show him warmth and understanding. A thank you for everything. She has a crush on carl not rick.

I agree with all the gun fight talk. That was one of the things I said. You can pick a walker off from 1000 feet but cant hit a guy standing out in the open?

For anyone trying to claim the Governor was at all not a nut job..the guy had heads in fish tanks and not all of them were walkers. nuff said

I was surprised as heck about axel. I was just saying that I thought he was going to turn into a creep or doing something dirty. Then BAM down he goes lol.

anyway im fairly ok with the direction. I like Rick and what he stands for. I think he deserves a breakdown. We know he isnt going anywhere because he is the main star.

I feel like there are bigger plot holes as they go on. But I also think thats a "the story is getting so big" thing

oh well. lets see where it goes.

I get fuckin nervous watching this show lol.

Usually happens for me when shows have been on for a few seasons and the story gets more complex and I get more invested in the characters and stuff. Reduces my enjoyment of the show is all I know. Happened with burn notice. White collar. Etc. Usually cuz less fun and more seriousness and drama. Ah well.

Less drama, more action. I feel like only 10 minutes per episode is worth watching.
Imho, if it were all action without any character development, it'd be about as shallow and entertaining as a Sylvester Stallone movie.

No thank you.

Most annoying/funny thing from latest episode: My brother shouting at Glen to fight his instinct and not Zerg the Governor.

Glen got annoying really quick. Daryl is all I have left. Writers, please don't turn him into an unbearable character. :\

Agree. We went something like 5 episodes in a row last season without even seeing a zombie. The pacing has been adequate this season. I might be annoyed with some of the character development (like Glen being a whiny bitch), but the mix of action/character interaction is not one of my complaints.

Go play Call of Duty zombie mod or something if you just want endless herd of zombies throwing themselves against bullets.

well i also don't understand those people who think that anyone who watches a show thinks it should be 100% flawless and perfect, and that everyone should think it is the greatest show on earth.

I got the same thing as well. Which is why I'm having issues with Rick's breakdown. It's hard to buy the guy who's having both audio and visual hallucinations and waving a gun in people's faces because of it, can still lead anyone to anything other than death. The people following him are screwed.

For you guys suggesting that the blond girl has a thing for rick I seriously hope you guys are joking. In a different drawn world maybe, but if they do that here it's going to come off really creepy. Carl still looks too much like a kid and she's looking too old for her, it'll come off wrong. Rick on the other hand needs someone as we live in a world where too many people want a love story everywhere. They're setting up something with him..

I agree with all the gun fight talk. That was one of the things I said. You can pick a walker off from 1000 feet but cant hit a guy standing out in the open?

I'm glad we can agree they did something wrong..

For anyone trying to claim the Governor was at all not a nut job..the guy had heads in fish tanks and not all of them were walkers. nuff said

Not saying he's stable, but I'd rather have the guy with the hidden crazy leading me than the guy waving a gun in my face during a visual hallucination, that may just be me though... though the Governor's people aren't wanting for food.. just saying..

I was surprised as heck about axel. I was just saying that I thought he was going to turn into a creep or doing something dirty. Then BAM down he goes lol.

Someone had to die, otherwise it wouldn't hold anywhere near as many people's attention, nor be as talked about.. blame Game of Thrones..

I don't like the breakdown.. it's a bit much. It's one thing for him to hear stuff he wants to from a phone, I can pretend he's just pretending as a way of dealing.. but he's waving a gun in people's faces.. and he's running around chasing after a hallucination while there's a ton of stuff to do. That's not a leader, that's a nutjob. In a world where almost everything's trying to kill me, I wouldn't want to follow the nut job..

Rick lost his wife a week or so earlier, and in that same time a new baby daughter was born, his son shot his own mother, he shot the walker that had eaten his wife, he got a phone call from his wife and Shane, he attacked Woodbury, and then had to go back to Woodbury to save Daryll....

It's been a couple of months for us, but in the context of the show all of this happened a week ago or so....

I think Rick deserves to have a meltdown.

But it becomes weird when those who criticize, do so week after week... after week after week. And then continue to complain when the next season starts.

No thank you.

I mean, even like...25 minutes of action would be nice. There really isn't any character development on anyone. Yeah rick is cracking up after Lori died (even though they never had a close relationship for a husband & wife before she died, and she's carrying someone else's child...but I digress), but Glenn & maggie are wallowing in a miasma of whining and angst. Herschel is whiny and suckling on Rick's dick for 90% of each episode, Darryl is the only one that shows any sort of development and is the only character that doesn't seem to be cut out of some angst/whine cardboard stereotype.

No one's saying it should be a constant zombie horde gun-fight. But it's all empty dialogue now, no character development, just angst angst angst. Then 8 minutes of zombies or action. The pacing is horrible. Season 1 was great, the first couple episodes of season 2, and then after that the show went in the tank until the start of season 3. I watch because the show clearly has the potential to be great, but unfortunately just settles for mediocre.

I think Rick deserves to have a meltdown.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to have one or not, personally I think just being a world over run with zombies would cause one in me. I'm just saying that I have issue with him having one and still being "the only one who can lead". That's a case of the show attempting to have it both ways, which oddly enough I think is it's biggest issue. It attempts to be both deep and compelling in many places where it's pointless yet tries to be an action show as well.

In the case of Rick, he's toast.. I really doubt they can bring him back nicely, and I have a hard time with everyone still looking to him to lead. If your leader can't take a moment from chasing his hallucinations to lead you're screwed...

Who came up with this stupid fucking idea that Andrea drove the zombie van? Why would she do that? Why are you people just making up random stupid shit? This isn't Lost or Prometheus, you people do realize that?
I think your bunched up panties are cutting off the circulation to your head.
