Glen and Maggie will stay in the new Woodbury, and the season will end with them getting married and taking over the leadership of the town while the rest of the main characters leave.

Why would the main characters leave if the leadership of Woodbury were now sympathetic to them? Wouldn't they just stay in Woodbury at that point?

The prison is over. They are leaving. Am hoping they set some nasty traps though for the Gov's crew.

I'm hoping when the Governor opens up the prison, hundreds of zombies come pouring out.

There's already a hole in the fence, and a hole in the building. So it shouldn't take too much effort to lure in a bunch more zombies for a nice surprise.

Rick considering turning over Michonne felt very contrived, like something he would never actually do but they just had him do it for tension... kinda lame.

Am I correct in thinking a person could not actually bite off two of another person's fingers?

It's not THAT hard to guess what will happen over all- based on the comic. Little details might change (as obvious by certain plot changes and twists between the show and comic) but over all, the main themes and what not will stay the same.

Gubna gone get it.

Same reason that 5 people sat around the prison doing nothing to fortify it or even poke the zombies' in the head from behind a fence. The Plot demands it.

Am I correct in thinking a person could not actually bite off two of another person's fingers?

No, the human jaw can produce about 150psi, plenty to break bone and rip muscle. What is hard about it is not the biting off the fingers, but having the will to do so.

Maybe bite through a joint, but even then it would take a lot of tugging and biting to tear through all the tissue.

You're not biting through bone. http://www.answers.com/topic/physical-properties-of-bone "tensile strength, 13,000 to 17,000 psi; compressive strength, 18,000 to 24,000 psi; compressive strength parallel to the long axis, 7150 psi; compressive strength at right angles to the long axis, 10,800 psi."

lure the governor's people inside, turn on the siren/alarm, and lock the doors behind them while leaving other doors open so zombies can get inside?

or open the doors, turn on the alarm/siren to get the zombies inside, turn it off, leave the prison and when the governor's people come, they get a zombie surprise.

i was thinking rick's group might take over woodbury while the governors group is at the prison, then they either ambush the governor on his way back or they use woodbury's defenses against the governor.

I'll see if I could bite two fingers off by practicing on a porkchop bone tonight.

I have a feeling I'm going to need a root canal after this.

I've never been a fan of the "Let's nitpick this show to death but still watch it" mentality exhibited here. However, I agree with you on the Rick part. I really wish they hadn't gone down that road with Rick. It didn't seem natural to the story. The fact that Daryl didn't even defy him, or at least express more concern, was also unnatural.

How they plan to have Michone trust ANY of that group again, especially Rick, is beyond me. She is a seriously distrustful character to begin with (rightfully so). The fact that she even followed Merle into the tombs, and LET HIM GET BEHIND HER, also seemed contrived and out of character. I try to just chalk it up to, "Maybe she's trusting the group and letting her guard down.". It's either that, or she got a sudden onset of Down Syndrome.

No, we have to have the wedding episode. Every show requires a wedding episode, it is TV law or something.
What I'm expecting is that Darryl dies, Michonne dies, Perhaps one of the women die (My guess would be Carol) Rick is injured (but will miraculously recover next season) and Andrea, Tyreese, and either his wife or the the guy who's son died (one of them will die, the other will join the group) will join the group.
Glen and Maggie will stay in the new Woodbury, and the season will end with them getting married and taking over the leadership of the town while the rest of the main characters leave.

And that is where I cut bail on the show. A TV show centered around Michonne, Andrea, and Glen is not worth watching.

Biting fingers off is very possible. The jaw produces more than enough pressure and power to go through the joints and rip it off. (It is difficult to chew through actual bone so easily)

However the easeness he did it in the show won't be true, however again it is a TV show and fiction so that shouldnt really matter.

And, after all, we are talking about the super-governator.

I don't think they can kill off Daryl, he's become the fan favorite.

Carol has been oddly quiet the last half of this season though.

This is how Tdawg survived so long.

The episode he has an epic monolouge and speaks, he dies.

There's only so much screen time to go around. She hasn't had much because of all the wasted time showing us how awesome Michonne is, or how cray cray Rick is, or how conflicted Andrea is, or how the Gov is.. something.. We haven't seen too much of Daryl this season compared to others either.

Huh, you know a lot of people thought the episode before the last one that the governor was bitten because he looked injured and it looked like he was trying to hide it... i guess that didn't happen.

I always try to look for twists way out of nowhere. For instance, has anyone ever thought about a Rick/captain eyepatch teacup? Say a herd of walkers swamps Woodbury during the shootout, prison group gets cut off, Woodbury group looses 90% of it's civilians and it's militia, but Rick and Phil are stuck together, setting aside their battle to rely on each other. Or Woodbury totally fails and enough of the prison group dies that there's no one left to object too strongly to the governers presence. Kind of like Ben Linus from LOST.
Also, if they kill Daryl I might quit watching.

Yes, the human mouth can sever fingers off a hand. Having spent 17 years working as a psych tech in a severe behavior program, I personally know of two staff who have lost fingers this way.
