I thought it was the gun hitting the floor. guns are made of metal too, especially colt pythons. Also. colt pythons didn't come in .44 mag that I can find.

As soon as I saw that scene and heard that sound, I told my girlfriend, "Someone messed up on the sound edit. A Colt Python doesn't eject a shell after firing.". She said, "Maybe it was the sound of the gun hitting the floor.". I think maybe that's what they were shooting for (pun intended), but they missed the mark there. That was clearly the sound of a spent shell hitting concrete, not the gun itself. The Python is a heavy ass gun and would make a clattering sound. I just thought it was funny.

Yeah, i thought it was the gun too.

Is anyone else kinda disappointed that morgan never made an appearance? I thought it would for sure happen.

I was. I was really hoping that he was going to show up at the last minute to help them. I think the writers missed a great opportunity there. Maybe they have something else in store for him next season.

Also, @pontifex, you're right, there is no .44 Python. It was only made in one caliber.

If I were writing the finale I would have had the war at the prison raging on, Andrea, Milton, Tyrese, and his girl would come to the aid of the folks at the prison, and then at a time where one of the main characters is about to be killed Morgan would save the day and join the fight.

But no...:|

So you'd write the cliche/stereotypical/expected ending?

i thought Morgan made it pretty clear he wanted nothing to do with anyone any more?
not sure what would make you think he might show up...

It was just a hope. There have been plenty of times in this show where a character said they'd do one thing, but ended up doing something else instead.

IIRC, the actor playing Morgan said he was tied up with other projects. That probably limited how the writers could use the character.

i lol'ed when they showed andrea bit. in the episode 3 or so back when she's hiding in the woods running from the governor, the 4 ninja zombies snuck up on her and 2 of them were holding her from behind while 2 more came from the front. she took the 4 ninja zombies out no problem, but 1 zombie that happens to be milton bit her.

I was more curious as to how she was able to get out of handcuffs using pliers.

$3000 seems pretty useless in a zombie apocalypse. It's worth should be translated into food and/or arms & ammunition.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing. Value on an item like that is calculated a bit differently in a "The world has gone to shit" scenario. A gun is a gun...to a point. Obviously a Colt Python holds more trade value than a .22 handgun. But it's really no more effective or valuable than a 9mm Glock. If anything, the higher capacity Glock holds more value.

Hehehe, rock solid revolver, no maintenance or parts ever needed, easy reloads even cast your own bullets from lead pipes and fish weights, ammo duality with 38 and 9mm (with moon clips maybe?) worth gold in an apocalypse too.

I dunno. i could see it as the muzzle or something like that sliding across the floor...like still in her hand as it falls, but not a solid thunk like actually dropping it.

.357 is significantly more powerful than a 9mm. Of course he could just get a Glock 20, then he has the more powerful 10mm, plus higher capacity. There is even a Glock factory in Smyrna Georgia, right outside of Atlanta.

Like Andrea trying to get no one killed, but, instead, gets most of the Woodbury adults and herself, killed..so far?

I think the Gov had more to do with that than Andrea.

Au contraire. She knew what he was going to do and she could have stopped all the subsequent deaths (including her own) by killing one person, the Gov., but she failed to do so. Why? Because she thought she could save everyone.

The Gov was going to do what he was going to do regardless, unless he was dead. She could have stopped it, but didn't

Yeah, but then you could say anyone with access to a gun in Woodbury should have killed him as well. The first thing we seen him do was kill the soldiers in that convoy. Same thing with Rick when they met face to face. The only one who would have done it is probably Carl and Morgan. Man, to think Carl is one of the few characters left on the show with balls.

Except none of those people knew the Gov's plan - Andrea did.

Milton, Merle, Martinez and Bowman did. Probably more henchman that died along the way. For the most part, everyone was OK with it because the results benefited them. I think Andrea wanted her cake and eat it too. She might also have actually liked the guy. I dont know, she is hard to figure out. Andrea from Season 2 would have had no issue shanking him in his sleep. But I guess that winter on the road and the comfort of Woodbury really changed her. Or its simply another example inconsistent writing.
