And by "someone" you mean the governor right?

logical guess (unless you know something from the comics). For some reason I am thinking we won't be seeing him any more.
Could be someone else from woodbury (or was it woodberry?), maybe someone's wife or kid got killed by the prison group?

No clue on the comic, just logical guess...he's a brilliant sociopath, so it just makes sense he would be fucking with them...don't know why you would think he was gone, he's so far out there that the only option is to bring him back big time:awe:

seems too obvious to be the Governor

seems too stupid for it to be someone that is still loyal to the Governor and is willing to endanger themselves along with the entire group rather than focus on survival and helping the group situation

we'll see how it plays out in S3, but if it is this

seems too stupid for it to be someone that is still loyal to the Governor and is willing to endanger themselves along with the entire group rather than focus on survival and helping the group situation

Walking Dead writers can go fuck themselves

I'll just wait for the Walking Dead S2 game to come out and watch that instead

Anyone notice that D'Angelo Barksdale is gonna be in the new season!? I wonder if he will continue to look for Wallace.

"Yo String! Where's Wallace? Where the fuck is Wallace!?"

Looking forward to Season 4 even though season 3 stunk pretty bad. Mo' people mo' problems.

"Yo String! Where's Wallace? Where the fuck is Wallace!?"

Two people on there from The Wire now, him and Cutty. It almost looked like Cutty (giant bearded dude) died in the trailer for season 4 but I guess he probably gets out of the zombie mob somehow.

It'd be awesome if they got Idris Elba to cameo as a zombie...

One eyed public psychopath doesn't exactly sneak around a prison undetected.

I'm still working my way through season 3, and am in the midst of watching the episode with the prison attack. Man, the writers must have been scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas during the season!!

I did have a WTF? moment, when I saw this, and rewould a couple times, to make sure I got it right. Here we see "the Governor", shooting a fully automatic rifle (in semi-auto mode) (bullpup configuration, that I don't recognize), with what has to be the wimpiest scope ever mounted to an assault rifle (it's full auto, so it's a true "assault rifle", unlike the semi-autos that the politicians try to label), shooting right handed and aiming through the scope with his left eye, which was NOT his dominant eye (until a day or two earlier, when he lost his right, dominant, eye), and getting a perfect head shot on Axel.

Only in Hollywood!

I really hope season 4 improves, VASTLY, over season 3. It's almost been painful, at times, watching these episodes!

If I remember correctly, the gun was a Steyr AUG

Since Axel was just standing still, a headshot at what appeared to be less than 200 yards, even with a shitty scope, is no big deal.

Besides, B-characters are easier to hit.

What killed me was Maggie and Glen with a perfect slaughter ambush set up when the gov's group came running out of the prison, and they didn't hit a SINGLE ONE.

Well, like I pointed out to someone else, he was standing (increases the difficulty quite a bit), and the non-dominant eye really made it somewhat incredible.
For instance, if you're right handed, you're almost always right eye dominant. So try this......close your right eye, then shoot wadded up pieces of paper at a waste basket 10 feet away, and see how difficult it is to hit it.
While it's not impossible, it IS something you need to train to do, as you're suddenly depending on an eye that you haven't trained with before (most likely), and it tends to throw you off. Even so, with the loss of one eye, your remaining eye will become dominant....but not likely in the time period they were looking at there.
Also, full auto assault rifles, even in semi-auto mode, are notoriously inaccurate. :hmm:

Yeah, but what about the zombies?

You're right. They might get everything else wrong about guns, but that did look like the right scope for that gun.

Of course most of the time he was aiming with his patched eye.

They do usually get it wrong when it comes to guns:
The first episode he used a gun, he was aiming with an AR with a sight rail, but no sights on it.

Then Merle's had flip up sights, but they were down.

Rick holds his gun above eye level and points the barrel down. Are sights too complicated for an actor to figure out?

They got the guns wrong from the first episode. Rick says, "safeties off," and Shane was looking for a safety on a Glock. He's suppose to a firearms instructor. LOL!

throwing pieces of paper and lining up sites on a rifle are very different things. And at that range, the inaccuracies of even a shitty Chinese made AK are irrelevant.

<-- 9 years in Marines, fired on in both standing and off-eye many a time.
