well posting what could be spoilers that happen in the book, that may or may not happen in the show, doesn't even belong in this thread in general, even if it's in a spoiler tag.

that is a totally different topic and we shouldn't expect to see something spoiled that hasn't aired in S3 or prior, in a thread about S3, even if it is in spoiler tags.

it is like going into a thread about the dark knight and people putting spoilers for the avengers in spoiler tags.

according to your join date, you weren't around for the previous 2 seasons. there were MAJOR spoilers in those threads and it sucks when you read about it, not knowing if it is a spoiler, and then 4 episodes later you find out it was a spoiler.

I havent posted any spoilers here other than Michonne's name and her relationship to the two zombies she traveling with. Her name isnt exactly a spoiler since her name was given up right after the last episode of S2.

...Not that knowing about the two zombies is vital information anyway...

If you don't want to hear others' opinions about a TV show maybe you shouldn't be reading a thread dedicated discussion about the show? It's only natural for people to want to take insight from other sources on the subject (The Talking Dead, comics) and discuss it to gain better understanding of the show itself.

The problem with that is then you have zombies attacking you that are on fire.

But until now they generally are running from zombies and a horde will overwhelm you unless you get good choke points like they have now.

Fire should damage them. If not damage, break up line of sight and maybe either attract or repel them. It should do something. Especially if their head is on fire.

so how come they don't care if the blood or guts get on them anymore? is it because they know they are already infected? the chick was nearly licking the blood off the asian dudes sleeve.

speaking of sleeves, why does that bitch wear a tank top? yea that seems like a smart idea, expose as much skin as possible when there are flesh eating zombies around.

also, carl is cooler but he is still needs to die because he's wearing that stupid hat.

I think it was in the first season, Rick and Glenn wore zombie flesh suits. Any splatter they've received since doesnt compare.

hahaha I dispute the notion that a zombie on fire has no benefits. In fact, I wish for a zombie apocalypse just so we can observe real zombie characteristics and I can be proven right!

Yes, but no one has given a major spoiler yet.

A name, or relationship of the zombies in no way affect how the story will evolve and so are not really spoilers.

Finding out Dark vader was Lukes father before The empire strikes back star wars movie was released is a spoiler

I wonder how many people complain about these minor s'poilers' also complained the harry potter movies were spoiled by people reading the books before they came out.

And honestly reading the books gave me a better understanding on some things and able to answer questions the movies kinda left high and dry.

What was spoiled last season? There was lots of crying and whining about possible spoilers last season, but all the deaths played out different.

Patricia, Dale, Otis, and Sophia all survived the farm in the comics. While in the comics it was Billy and Lacey who died on the farm, and they weren't even in the show. Shane was dead before they even got to the farm in the comics, so comic readers had no better guess than TV viewers when he was going to die.

So all the whining and crying from last season was pointless.

Also it was pretty damn clear that Shane was going to die or at least there would be a major confrontation between him and Rick when he tried to rape Lori at the CDC.

Stop crying and stay out of the thread if you want to avoid spoilers or discussion of any type.

That's almost every zombie movie ever made. When someone dies they come back as a zombie, even if they weren't bit.

Shane died very early in the comics. So comic book fans had no more information than TV viewers on when he was going to die. In the show they spent a long time setting up the confrontation. It shouldn't have been surprise anyways even if you hadn't heard anything.

Amy and Jim are the only character deaths that stayed the same. Everything after season one has played out a bit different.

I hate this stupid argument. Because it's a zombie concept, it doesn't have to make any sense? So the show can have stupid plot devices, illogical character decisions, and arbitrary outcomes because zombies are fiction to begin with?

Why stop there? The show should have rainbow unicorns and flying donuts. You can't complain, it's a zombie TV show.

I have little problem with the show, I enjoy it. But I don't blame those nitpickers.

I'll have to agree with purbeast0. This thread is about the show. Why come in here and spoil it with comic book talk, which has its own thread? I've read the comic books, but I've seen the same in other threads. I'm not sure why the comic book spoilers always argue for it and insist on talking about it anyways.
