Now that no one has problems with killing zombies (its almost as if they're killing small rodents and pests), I fear that this show might become a drama with character development and exploration. Meh.

I am pretty sure the last 2 seasons were like this. This season so far as had a lot more zombie killing and hunting, and people trying to survive by killing each other.

Won't be so easy to kill zombies when you add the human factor. They might have it down now, but in the middle of some human drama? That is when !@#$ hits the fan and a bite or a scratch becomes easy.

Yes. If all the surviving humans were perfectly living together in harmony, even when outsiders show up. Then the world would be very drama filled with no killed.

However, since in an apoctalyptic world you cannot trust a stranger, and only have yourself/your group.... gets difficult.

Season 3 motto is "Fear the dead....Fear the living..."

Christian Bale (Batman) is British, but the guys playing the new Superman and Spiderman are Americans. Magneto and Professor X are, but they talk with their regular accents.

True Blood has some guys doing american accents though. The guy that plays Bill is British, and the guy that plays redneck Jason is Australian.

yea, the guy who plays bill was a vamp before in a late 90s show called ultraviolet

the new supes is cavill who is a brit afaik and the new spidey was raised in the UK no?

Watched last night's episode with a roomful of friends, when Lori said "I know I'm a shitty wife and a terrible mother..." the entire room shouted out an "Amen!" in unison.

Just some things that bothered me this episode (maybe spoilers):

- Why did the lady ask the Asian dude to go and help her get a walker to practice on at that very moment? Was there an immediate need? Why not just wait until the rest of the group got back? They left the potentially zombified doctor alone with a pregnant lady, his two daughters, and a little boy... brilliant.

- Why did they immediately unchain the doctor when they saw he was still alive? How is he any less of a threat than he was before? If anything, it's more obvious that he can die at any moment... And why not chain both hands instead of just one?

- Why send the son out alone to collect food from the cafeteria? Wasn't rule 1 never go anywhere alone? And why get mad at him for going to the infirmary?

- Why did the sheriff recklessly chase after the black dude who ran away?

The show is good. It's exciting. The characters are interesting. But these stupid little things that make me yell at the TV like a crazy person really annoy me.

Also, and maybe I just missed/forgot something from last season, but why does the sheriff hate his wife now?

1) She seems to be practicing how todo a C-section on a walker, as Lori being a pregnant lady may require it and as Hershal is now in a position not to be able to be one to do it. She was seen at the end cutting open the stomach in the area of the womb of the female walker she killed.

2) Because he was fine. If he dies you have a few moments before you turn. It isn't completely instant. Plus his breathing stabilized and opened his eyes. Im sure if he passes out again they will put it back on.

3) The son didn't get sent out alone. He went out alone on his own without telling anyone (which he is really good at). And they were mad because he is still a child. Not as fast or strong as the adults like Rick and Derly. Also right in front of them is a guy that got bitten even when in a large group for protection. When alone it is much more dangerous, and should have waited for the muscle 3 (T-dawg, Deryl and Rick) to do it.

4) He is a police officer. It is a natural reaction. j/k Really though he was in a "blood fever" and wanting to kill them all for the one guy betraying them when he made a deal and risked himself and the group to get them that area secured. So he was making sure he didn't get away to return and cause more harm to them later on.

I'm liking this season better than the 2nd season. I kindof don't get why they don't find a major river and take it down to the gulf though.

So who or what was watching Carol from the bushes when she was practicing on that zombie? Merle?

Could be...
Merle, a person from the Governenors group scouting safer areas, a zombie/walker, another 3rd party, one of the inmates they left alive, etc.

So you think he should have let him get to the armory?

You think a single guy with no zombie survival experience and no weapon would make it to an armory - is there even an armory? He couldn't even hit the sheriff with a bat.

Again, isn't rule #1 never go anywhere alone? Especially when he has no idea what could be down those dark hallways.

Potential zombie horde is a far greater risk.

Stop nitpicking the show you're all going to over-analyze it. Just sit back and enjoy it.

Me personally I'm glad they are done with the prison. The episode where they discovered the prison was much better. I wasn't really happy with how the convicts and drama played out inside the prison. So I'm looking forward to what they do next.

Hopefully the episodes are not like "discovering the prison, drama in the prison, cleaning the prison, thankful for the prison, hate being in the prison due to drama, oh my god prison under attack"

eh? eh?

Rick was a cop... you see a black guy run, it's just natural instinct to give chase, especially if he's already a convict.

I definitely like the new Rick. Give people a chance to show that they aren't going to screw you over. Once they do, take clear and decisive action. I'm enjoying this season much more than the 2nd.

I look at it from the standpoint that the virus compels to the host to repeatedly bite living things to spread itself. Maybe they're not actually eating as much as biting. It just doesn't make sense that they eat people--they would have a narrow window between where they could eat them and the person turned into a zombie.

I guess it's one of those "ehh...just watch the show" deals.

But everyone is already infected so the walkers aren't spreading anything...everyone already carries the virus. The bite of a walker only serves to kill the person and speed up the reanimation process...but the virus should only be concerned about spreading itself...which already happened mysteriously around the world at the same time....

Yea, its kinda like how I read "World Of The Worlds" way before the movie came out. I was familiar with the reference material and it helped to shape my understanding of the movie. Basically, this poster is throwing a bitch fit because people have read the comic and know whats going on. It doesn't spoil the freaking show if the show is adapted from a comic. Technically, the show is already spoiled.

In the comic, Merle doesn't exist..but Hershel is a LOT like Merle in terms of his attitude. In the show, Hershel is just a humble religious farmer...in the comic, he's a sometimes humble religious farmer redneck that uses the N-word.

I suppose the blood is not a problem as long as there aren't breaks in your skin for it to enter your bloodstream. Technically, they are carriers of the Virus. It's similar to people who are carriers for diseases that don't affect them until there is a trigger to set it off...which I think is why the bite actually turns people.

Either that or the zombies just have some killer Komodo Dragon saliva that just kills people and then everyone comes back as zombies

world of the worlds? you mean war of the worlds?

Just because YOU read the book doesn't mean everyone has! how is that such a hard concept?
