If it's any consolation, there's no evidence for rocky's idea in the comic - in fact there's some evidence against it (which would be a possible upcoming spoiler for the show).

Yeah, that's why I don't really believe that's the case. It just triggers sort of a plot foreshadow warning every time they kept bringing up "we thought you were dead" in the first season. It was apparent that some amount of time passed from when Shane left him to when he woke up and the flashbacks only reenforced the idea that Rick was indeed dead. I just keep thinking that something special happened to Rick at the hospital that they haven't fully explained.

Very late to the party, but anyways, the governor seemed annoyed that Andrea gave Merle hope. He doesnt like free thinkers, which I guess I can understand cause it compromises his control. I'm surprised he didnt try to kill Michonne by now and just say she left on her own. I'm sure he knows she knows he killed the reservists.

That seriously had to be the stupidest episode of this show I've seen. I just couldn't get over how far off this one was. I couldn't help but feel the acting in the scene between Andrea and one hand hick was so bad that I kept wondering if they were mocking the script they were handed.

I kinda agree. It was a stupid way for Lori to go out. I'm almost wondering if the actress had some other opportunity and wanted off the show, so they hastily wrote her out. It does no good to have a baby in this environment without a mother. I think a nobler thing would have been to kill herself and the baby. Now they have to find some milk or formula, and babies cry all the time so they cant be stealthy. A baby is a zombie magnet...either you have to go where they are, or they will come to you.

Even when the zombies attacked, they should have ran towards Rick or the cars, instead, they do just about the worst thing possible. Well, the only smart ones were Hershel and his daughter, considering his condition. All they really needed to do was find a place to hold up. You would think they would have established secure spots or escape routes in case something like this happened. Its possible the saboteur compromised these routes, but how the hell did he even get back in their section without making enough noise to attract zombies? The whole episode just seemed contrived.

I can understand Andrea's desire to stay. But flirting with Merle...and the Governor? She's trash. She should be toughest psychologically out of anyone in the show, maybe second to only Michonne. Now they are turning her into a dumb blonde bimbo.

I kinda wish I waited to watch these all in a row. The show might flow better without the delay between episodes. Everything probably seems worse than it is when you have time to think about each episode.

I could actually understand Andrea's character up to this season. Maybe she is just worn out from all the crap she went through and is taken in by Woodbury and its sense of normalcy. Its too bad about T-Dog. He came a long way from being slapped around by Merle on the rooftop. He should have kept his riot suit on. If I had one I'd wear it even when I went to take a dump! Holding up in a place for too long seems to give them a false sense of security that leads to disaster. You would think after what happened at Hershel's farm, or the Quarry, they wouldnt slack off at all. It'll be interesting to see the events which leads to Woodbury's collapse.

No, it was implied that the zombie had dragged off and eaten Lori. He was stabbing its belly to see what came out, expecting to see parts of Lori.

So... I finally got caught up, just finished Season 2 on Netflix.
But, I knew it would happen - I wasn't able to finish in time. AMC's VOD section (for my cable provider) listed Episode 3-1 as "available until November 11th". I figured I'd finish today, but was hoping I could "order" the free episode today (and be given 24 hrs to watch it), but it disappeared from the list today.

I have every other episode on the DVR, but the season premier didn't get recorded. It's no longer on VOD, it's not available on AMC's website anymore (it was for a short time, not sure when it was taken down - typically they don't have full episodes, because they are bigger assholes than HBO are like that), and I'm not seeing it coming up as airing as a repeat on the channel guide.

Am I missing a viewing option, or am I going to have to be driven back into the folds of that which we cannot discuss, just to clear up the minor issue of getting this one episode watched so I can continue with the rest of the show on my DVR?
I am NOT waiting until just before Season 4 airs (which is about the time when Season 3 will be on disc/streaming, again, because they are worse than HBO - the pricks).
