I was expecting the baby in the station wagon to die, and NOT turn into a zombie. Basically show that offspring won't carry the disease, making "asskicker" far more valuable. Otherwise, asskicker is totally going to die, because I don't see how they can survive with a baby outside of the prison.

It's obvious to me they left the prison when Rick was in batshit insane mode.

But this is the same show where after a zombie attack, they dig a grave for someone, put up a headstone, fill in the grave, then check to see if the person was killed.

I really wanted to know who drove that "zombie bomb" van! All they showed was someone covered in armor head to toe getting out and running towards the bus by Michone, that's it!

The figure of the mystery zombie bomber seems to petite to be a man, my first reaction was Andrea but she didn't know where the Governor went to and was left in the town so it couldn't be her.

Edit: Perhaps the chick with the black curly hair from town?

One more thing, how is it our hero's can nail a zombie in the head EVERY SINGLE TIME during every episode thus far but with 5 or 6 people shooting at them, they couldn't even hit the broad side of the prison, so to speak. That kinda annoyed me.

Exactly. She should have turned around and opened the truck at the gate, and after the zombies get out, drive off.

If they were going to leave the truck, they should have used an ice cream truck so it would have made more noise to attract zombies.

zuuuhhh? this episode was action packed. good episode IMO. although watching walking dead right now, they mentioned tyrese and crew. i completely forgot about them. they weren't in this episode whatsoever.

? Nothing happened for the first 50 minutes. More whining from glen & his gf, herschel rehashing the same 4 or 5 lines over and over again. Everyone talking about how great a leader Rick is despite the fact he's gotten almost everyone in the group killed at this point. I dunno. I loved season 1, HATED season 2, gave season 3 a chance and liked the first half. But the last few episodes have been meh to me. Even when there is action it's interspersed with more repetitive whining from the same characters over and over

YES. That's what I've been saying. It's a fucking soap opera. Here's why I feel like season 1 was so much superior to the tripe that followed:

In season 1 you had the struggle & stories of survival while dodging this present and clear threat, or at least the omnipresent potential for that thread to arrive. You also had the decay of society thrown in as well. Season 2 & 3 have been soap opera episodes with whiny annoying dialogue, and the zombies are thrown in just to remind everyone that it's an episode of the walking dead. The threat they present isn't central to the show, or part of the plot any more. It's just whining dialogue, fights, more whining, huckster wisdom from herschel, then a zombie wanders into the scene and gets hit in the head.

This show has given me new respect for Sergeant Schultz from Hogan's Heroes. In that show they had to sneak around at night and tunnel under the fence to outwit Sergeant Shultz.

In the Walking Dead, even though they know the Governor is coming, he manages to drive up to the prison in broad daylight, have one of his men sneak in and climb the guard tower, and start shooting before anyone inside the prison knows he's right out in front with a full sized pickup truck.

Anyone else at least KINDA miss Shane? He may have been an over-reactive ass but he brought a strength to the group that it almost feels like it's been lacking. Rick was the rational one, Shane the irrational one and the balance they had was great. Now, Rick is going nuts, has lost his humanity (proven when, whether intentional or not, he kicked out a clearly good group of people), and furthermore is chasing ghosts that he has now admitted are ghosts!! And back to the Rick humanity issue, what is he teaching his (clearly kinda weird) son when he sent those people packing? That all people are bad, that nobody deserves a chance in this world? He's going to turn him into a new Shane, mark my words. And that baby, don't get me started on that. The 2 seconds the baby was in this episode was just long enough for the story line to confirm that Rick has no connection to the little freak baby (in my mind) confirming that it is Shanes, or Rick is so convinced that it is it doesn't matter whether it is or not. Ok, that's enough for now.
