He got pretty f'ed up by the looks of it.

I was kind of rooting for Carl to get munched by a zombie this ep. That bar zombie got so closeee!!!!

I was a bit confused on how they were no longer able to break glass.. and more so on why Carl was so calm just kicking back on the other side of it. Guess the stupid is still working it's way out of him...

Yeah, inconsistent, but I thought it was pretty funny how they put together this touching scene with the boy saying, "This is the only picture left of my mother," while zombies are just behind him drooling, moaning, and biting at the air. Kinda funny.

Not all glass, nor are all zombies, created equal. So it's very feasible that in some circumstances glass will break, while in others, it does not.

And they've shown several times this season how the group isn't completely fearful of the dead in every circumstance. Like random humans found chewed up on the road, they are becoming desensitized.

That would mean there are more survivors in the area... or the Governors men. But I bet the Governors men would have taken the pack right after running him down

I had to watch the scene again, but no, it doesn't look like he was run down. His body looked like a zombie tore him up, but the placement of the backpack forward of the way his body was facing did look odd.

This was to first re-show the tone of the world. No sensitivity of other people not close to the group, and that everything is up for grabs.

Second to show re-emphasize the tone this group from Atlanta has become.

They are what, almost 2 years since the outbreak? By this time all survivors are either holed up somewhere by themselves or with a group, not hiking randomly down a country road.

And if he really WAS out there traveling (assuming he was previously sheltered), he would probably be skilled at evading walkers.

There are plenty or reasons. Maybe his group he was with (if he was with any) died/caught by walkers etc. etc.

Remember, Rick went to Atlanta. Outskirts of Atlanta was the group.

When they left at start of S2, they left going the same highway rick rode his horse down, but the other direction.

Then they found the farm not too far off the highway, sounds like about 45min-hr off.

Then they made circles after circles just trying to stay on the move until the prison in the area. So it wouldn't be too surprising that it would be at most 1 hour out.

I imagine if they ever manage to get a different car sponsor, that car will get stolen/blown up.

He could know of it but not know actually how to get to it. I live in California and know where Hollywood is but if you drop me off someplace in Southern California and ask me to walk there I think I might have a hard time finding the place.

But yes he should have known. Maybe he just never thought about it being a good place to hold up until he actually got there.

Still gotta love Carl and Rick's reactions when the car gets stuck, especially Carl's.

It's funny how they have no fear of the zombies any more. How did the zombies not break through that flimsy cafe door? Carl just stands with his back against it it like it was nothing.

And speaking of the cafe zombies, why the fuck were they all sitting down and acting like they were sleeping? do zombies get tired and have to sit down? It doesn't make sense to me when I see stuff like that. So even if the people died in those positions, when they became zombies, they didn't think to stand up or move, especially in the amount of time that has passed? And since when do the zombies hide and plan an attack like the one that grabbed Carl's foot in the cafe? I need some explanations on these things.

I thought that after everything Rick went through with Morgan they might pick up that guy they passed in the beginning, like Rick realized that people need help and they could use extra people to fight against the Governor. Funny that they backed up to pick up his backpack though.

What was underneath the welcome mat? Blades? I couldn't really tell what it was.

To be fair... the stress of everyday living with lori AND the walkers made his memory foggy.

When Lori died and he woke up a bit from his insanity, now only the walkers to deal with he remembered.

A classic Bottle Episode? I thought it was pretty good considering, I always wondered how they would bring the black guy back, I figured something would happen to his son.
