I still think it was the girl. Makes sense too since they are building her up even more now.
KT
KT
Her interactions with the zombie next to Glen makes sense. The real conundrum still is why they aren't doing more than poking a few with a stick when they are piling up. There has to be a far more efficient way to mow zombies down, especially if they are distracted.
I wouldn't want to waste ammo on something like that. At this point you want ammo for human encounters and emergency situations. Granted, this is kind of turning into an emergency, since the fence is there providing some relative safety, hand to hand weapons are ok. The problem is the zombies keep piling up slowly. Eventually the fence broke just due to the weight of it.
I wonder what the supply group will tell Rick about the insane horde of zombies heading their way. Not sure how many there were.. or how far..But it seems like eventually they may run into the prison.

They have a safe zone inside the double fences. I don't know why they didn't do something to make it safer in the event of a breech. It is like they were just sitting around going "well, we are safe enough right now, no reason to plan for any future problems!". Oh wait, if they did that the writers would have to rely on garbage drama and dialog. Thank god, we don't have to have that for another crappy season revolving around the biggest problems being Lori is a cheating skank and Carl is out of the house again!
Well, to be fair they also built that entire gate thing out front with the spikes, setup their farm area, setup ways to get fresh water, the feeding area outside, etc. Seems like they were relying on the fences being good enough, while they setup stuff to live somewhat comfortably.
We get to see about one hour or so out of at minimum several days to a week passing between episodes. For all we know they have weapons cleaning detail every single day. I know I would implement such a thing, but maybe that's my Army training...
A properly cleaned and lubricated weapon can stand to be outside in the elements for days or weeks at a time and still function effectively especially an AK-47.
I wouldn't keep them locked up. It might protect them from the elements, but when you need one, good luck running back to the armory. I agree, people should be carrying at least handguns, but long rifles are not fun to lug around (and I did that in my military days). Where they had some weapons stores (I imagine that wasn't all of them) was a good place. It had a good location in the event of a fence breach (which was pretty likely with how the zombies were piling up) and accessible for short notice needs.
The real problem isn't how stupid they are in gun storage, but how stupid they are in pretty much everything else.
Also, how exactly could they go out all the time (and Michonne go looking specifically for him) could they not find the governor camping somewhere right outside the prison.
I also have a feeling Daryl is going to go looking for Carol. Herschel and Maggie might agree with Rick's decision, as they view him the leader even if he doesn't want to be, Daryl most likely doesn't feel the same.
Okay... moving forward, anyone else going to get sick?
Hershel, Maggie, others? Or is the medicine they brought back a "cure-all" and we move onto the next topic?
I vote it'll be next topic, though I really did not expectHershel to make it.
The young people survived with the help of medicine, but the virus still may be too much for elderly people like Hershel.
This is the worst part. So, Glen was coughing up blood from an unknown virus and taking a cocktail of expired antibiotics magically cured him! I can understand the need to fight the symptoms, but other than reducing their fevers and such, there is little they can do against a virus. The magic medicine is such a stupid plot device.
I swear the writers of this show have no bearing in reality. It like a child comes up with the ideas. "Hey, let's have everyone get sick and then some medicine they find will save the day at the very last minute!"
I am going to go ahead and predict the Governor will almost win and then some magical Unicorn will gore him right before he finishes off <insert whoever is the cast member getting the most screen time at that point> and everyone will be happy until the next artificial filler villain / plot device appears.
I'm betting the governor stuff will be drug out the rest of the season.
I was thinking the same thing last week, when they also said there would be "Adam Savage and a special guest"... Which turned out to be a non-cast member. So, I think maybe it just means they don't have anyone scheduled yet.We know that there will be a "special guest from the cast" next week on the Talking Dead.
