How did they survive that long to begin with?

good question. My impression is that they've been in that apartment since the infection started, so we're talking years. How they manage to walk the halls, go outside to get food from the truck, etc. without even knowing how to kill a zombie is puzzling.

Or the 'she shoots them but they just get up' was odd as well. I don't recall seeing zombies go down in this show from, say, a gut shot. They just keep coming at you. You have to figure that, in a tight corridor like that, odds are not good for her survival.

Yeah, she was laughable at certain points. I still don't understand whatsoever, why she barked "What do you think this is, a Holiday Inn?!?!" at the Governor when he was returning his plate. Ummm, I don't think you drop off your dirty plate in front of other people's door, at a Holiday Inn.

However, I do love how (even with the Governor's story arc) they are keeping with this season's theme of "can you come back from what you have done?"

Because his behavior was so weird there and she hadn't yet mentioned the sink, it made it harder to understand that she was telling him to clean his own plate.

I was really disappointed with that episode. I don't give a crap about the governor and that new family of his is terrible. It was pretty clear that girl wasn't a cop and the old man would die soon.

AND we already know he goes back to the prison and watches it all nefarious like. Trying to make people have sympathy for him now is rather stupid. If they had built that into his character from the beginning, that would have been okay. You can't just retcon that stuff in.

I doubt they will do it as the gov is in evil mode again when we saw him the previous episode sitting outside the fence and was more then likely the one that is luring all the zombies to the fences by feeding them.

So I would say don't get to attached to the new group.

No. The zombies were fed from the inside and it is most likely the sick girl. Even if it were the governor, that would just be dumb. He may be directing them their way somehow but he isn't the one feeding them rats from inside the gate.

I was kind of torn about the scene from the episode before last. After the episode last night, I think he might have been watching the prison for a while figuring out whether or not he should let his beef with Rick go.

His beef is with Michone.

I liked the episode.

I still dont think governor did the rat feeding and would be irked if they were to reveal it was him because its just a completely irrational way to try and get back at them especially since it means it would have had to break inside to do it. At that point it would be far more sinister to sneak into one or more people's cells, kill them and then leave and let the reanimated corpses wreak havoc ala Patrick. Or just cut a big hole in the fence/leave the gate open!

Its an interesting idea someone else mentioned that the governor standing there watching the prison on that last episode was watching the 3 girls go in after dropping them off instead of having sinister plans, but I dont believe that to be true. I am certain we will find out in the next episode that something happens to them which again brings out his evil side

I'm guessing that they'll make him part of the prison group to pretend to add tension. They seem to really love the actor that plays the Governor so I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to move him into a more anti-hero role.

Nooooo way! If Rick kicked Carol out for the two sick people she finished off and burned there is NOOOO way in hell they would take the governor in!

But I love the consistency of you searching for the stupidest shit to bitch about this show. I can't imagine you enjoy any TV/movies with the way you look for stuff. But I'm guessing it's just with this show, for some reason.

you don't have to search for anything, they are a dime a dozen in this show. it's like watching a bad b-movie horror movie. so was that one crawling on the ground towards the little girl that was the final kill the one he throat ripped? if so yeah i missed that. so scratch 1 inconsistency off of the list of 8493280423.

and i enjoy a shitload of movies and tv shows and probably watch way more of both than most people on these forums do. i'm one of the least picky movie-goers there is. i like everything.

If nothing else, the writers have shown that logic and continuity are thrown out whenever it suits them.

If she wasn't killed properly after that, I figured it was written as him grabbing the spine/brain stem through the throat but SFX wasn't up to the task.

no, because i watched it from the beginning when it was good, and it's only 40 minutes long, and i like b-movie horror movies. walking dead is entertaining to me BECAUSE of how bad it is. it is like a really poorly written b-movie horror flick now but it still has traits that are entertaining. although i will probably stop watching it for good after the hiatus happens, especially since it seems the governor is going to be a pretty big role.

B/c the bite has something in it (may or may not turn you) that kills you somewhat quickly.

Also, technically speaking as long as you don't have any open cuts or wounds/ingest zombie blood.."bathing" in it should be fine. But yeah I def. would not want it all over me.

So, upon being raised from the dead, you rapidly develop venomous glands and now are a killing machine with super strength and maybe a soft skull (depending on how average thickness your skull is).


I'd have at least tried to cover myself in their blood to see if it helps avoid detection. The zombies have to be using some kind of sense to find humans. It could easily be smell.

Glen and Rick did that in Season 1, with some success (until it started raining.)

A bite causes a different sort of infection that kills... Morgan described it when he told the story of watching his wife die and subsequently turn. And we saw it when Jim got bit in Season 1.
