this story arc is zzzzzz.
Situations like this aren't just happening in India. The pay day loan scam has been ensnaring people for years. The idea that a simple loan will get you back on track just isn't the case, and people are having to take another loan to pay off that one, and another for that one, etc. And, of course, the people giving the loans are more than happy to continue to serve you.People have been clamoring for beth for some time and they got her. Its wasnt bad and it told her story but it was missing some budget outside the few shots beth shot off.
I thought it was another study in how society breaks down. The servitude portion of the show is happening today in real life in india and in other countries around the world. People end up in these cycles of debt that are designed to keep them there forever. Not so unbelievable in a Zompocolypse.
Would have been nice to have been given the payoff on Daryl but it probably ruins the next episode im guessing.

People at this point are full blown crazy. On the crazy scale Dawn isn't even close to as bad as The Governor or Gareth. I assume Gormon was in it for the pussy. What exactly is there to get? A setup where the authority kidnap serfs and leave those capable of fighting behind? They place those whom happen to be "rescued", if that even is the case, in an indentured servitude that will never cease? A leader who thinks something beyond the cluster fuck that is the world still exists and will eventually rescue them to rebuild?
Or, how about a society with a leader that stronger people, with guns, follow for no reason other than "well, it was in the script"?
I didn't like the idea that Carol could be taken so easily after single-handedly thrashing the cannibals.

Why would Gormon be a slave to Dawn's leadership? He could easily have taken her out and taken over. He would really be rolling in the pussy then, as rapings could be acceptable. They give zero reason why Dawn was the leader and why she was letting more and more stuff go to keep the other cops happy, at the expense of the "patients".
Like I said, maybe that will all be explained in a later ep.Why would Gormon be a slave to Dawn's leadership? He could easily have taken her out and taken over. Did Gormon rape that other girl who had her arm amputated, and then kill her? Trying to figure out how she died with a pair of scissors in her hands
She killed herself.
Which is incredibly poor writing, if that is so. If the cops turn out to be some kind of lawful evil scenario, refusing to break rank and order, but willing to commit evil, there should have been some discipline rank system established in the story. Dawn could have "pulled rank" on any of the officers at any time to even pretend to establish a chain of command situation.Like I said, maybe that will all be explained in a later ep.
Didn't she pull rank on Gormon with respect to Beth? And scratched a nice message into the floor of Dawn's office to boot!

They never discussed the plan on screen. Apparently their plan assumed that the other team would attack the church, so they left and then came back.
yeah I got that part, I just have no idea how they actually facilitated leaving the church and coming back inside undetected.
I think the idea was they knew Bob was had been dropped off, so they exited into the treeline to wait for the new crew, whom they assumed were watching, would enter the church. They figured the Termites would expect them to retaliate in full for Bob and they would wipe out those left behind. So, they hid and ambushed the Termites when they did exactly that. Of course, this couldn't be explained beforehand, because you lose 100% of the suspense.
I don't understand. You think they can't open the door at night quietly?I don't need an explanation, I just need to know how they got out of the church and back inside undetected. I'd rather not chalk this up to suspension of disbelief.
