That's a bit of a trend this year. Same with Tyrese not killing the dude in the cabin. We shouldn't need a talk show for us to fully understand what happened.

Yeah, that's definitely not something I like. I don't/haven't read the comics, and have no intention of doing so. If the TV show starts getting to the point where I need to have read the comics to understand what's going on or really follow the series, I'll bow out and watch something else instead.

With Eugene as a fraud, going to DC has no point, so I'm assuming the group will double back and meet up with Rick and the gang. Surely they'd want to find a better place than that church that offers no protection or resources. After the ranch, the prison, Mayberry and slabtown, I wonder what the next longer term locale might be?

The part where they were in the book store/library was a total waste for me - not sure if just my TV or not, but my screen was basically pitch black for about 5 minutes. People were talking, but fuck if I knew what was going on.

I had the same issue. I was talking about it with a friend today, and he said he could see fine. He said at one point a zombie even bumped the window when Abraham and Glenn were talking. I was like "wtf, I thought they were standing outside." I couldn't see shit during that scene.

Hmm interesting, I didnt have that problem but I had all my lights off just the TV was emitting light.

They should go to a major port and find a large transport ship thats still seaworthy, clear it out, travel to some island and live happily ever after.

Except that everyone is infected, so ...

Overall not a particularly interesting episode. I suspected all along that Eugene was full of it, so now at least that's done with. I loved the walker ranch setting though. Trying to get through that would make a cool episode.

The little romp in the bookstore between Abraham and the girl made me think of how absolutely nasty things must be in that world. No showers for all these folks , in the middle of Georgia with no AC... and the stench of rotting corpses (moving or not) must be pleasant, I'm sure nothing says "romance" more than such a setting

They didn't explain in the episode what exactly happened between Abraham, his family and those other guys, I found on in watching the 'talking dead' afterwards what was going on. I don't think they did a good job explaining that setting in the episode.

So who here would go down on a woman after a whole long day running from zombies

For those of us that missed The Talking Dead afterwards, what was the explanation given for the flashbacks?

Was that Abe's wife and children outside disemboweled with the entrails hanging out?

Did Eugene just get KTFO or his he dead?

Eugene chose DC because he believed it would be the best place to survive.

I am hoping there will be some sort of rationalization that DC is the best place to head, and a road trip with all the crew is in order. I don't think the writers are that smart though. =(

I'll try not to bring to comic up too much. The show did not do a good job explaining what the fudge was going on in the store with Eugene's family. Basically, his wife and daughter was raped, the son was forced to watch...and Eugene went ballistic and killed everyone (seemingly with just a can of Soup/vegetables). His wife was scared of him and took the kids and left. He found them dead later.

Eugene is not dead, unfortunately...

Sadly, the show deviates from the comic strip. For instance the baby and the Asian guy should already be dead.

No, Glenn dies later in the comics. I believe the show was using foreshadowing to show how Glenn dies in the future, via the trough scene.

WTF is wrong with you two?! Tag that shit. I read compendium one and two and the show has not caught up to compendium two (three won't be out until 2016). Now you spoiled the comic AND the show. Good job. Edit your posts before you spoil it for more people.

How come the group doesn't get infected when they jumped into that basement full of zombie water? Seems like that water would be full of the bacteria that could work its way into the body of the living through the orifices (genitalia, eyes, nose, mouth, etc.)
They still haven't said whether it is a virus, bacteria, nano its, prion disease, etc and made it a point that they still don't know. The comic writers haven't revealed it either and don't plan to. Eugene's BS is exactly the kind of explanation I was thinking, even if it's BS: two or more different infections (fighting fire with fire) and a strange interaction. For example, some kind of cellular cold fusion provides infinite energy to power muscles and nerves without digesting food and breathing oxygen.

The same reason the grass is always cut, the gas never goes bad and why batteries last forever duh...
The least they could do is use the fluid from a new inactivated bottle-supplied car battery which has a much longer shelf life (fluid is about 75% charged and very stable). Instead, they add distilled water to a battery that had been on the shelf at least as long as the one in the car and can somehow tell that it is charged just by looking in it (last season) then they use a portable jump box from the trunk which is every bit as old as the dead battery in the car (this season).

Didn't Noah also say he came from a place in VA that had walls? But he and his family went to GA to connect with his uncle. My theory was that his uncle may have been Morgan (based on nothing more than Morgan's appearance in this season being unexplained so far). Noah being from VA and joining the group soon could be another reason they head toward DC.

Wouldn't it be funny if they just made up spoilers? Like you think it's spoiled, but when you watch the show or read the comic you're like "WTF? that wasn't what **** said happened"
