This is going to be what I think Mullet Man and his friends are waiting to reveal. That, even if they find a cure, all of them will die from it except the baby. They are all infected. Is Judith? Well, who knows at this point. We can assume yes, but babies aren't passed HIV from their mothers, why would a zombie virus be different?

I'd imagine she has the antibodies that would adapt her body to it.

Why did Bob have so much screen time at the end? All the Bob scenes is just big fat fillers right? and why is everyone saying Bob got bitten by the underwater walker in the water scene? If yes then GREAT! Why? The cannibals who ate Bob leg would also catch Ebola. I mean the Zombie virus.
Am I wrong here? xD

Season 5 has certainly gotten off to great start. I just hope it last. And as others have noted I'm so glad they didn't hideout at that terminus place. The prison episodes bored me to tears. Season 3 and 4 was too much soap opera in general.

Regarding the characters they all seem like a bunch of whiney asses to me. The show needs another Shane. My favorite character by far.

I honestly think the preacher has been getting people to the church and then giving them to the cannibals as tribute.

Yea. I have a feeling that the Terminus people are going to turn into zombies during the next episode.

The preacher is working with Terminus, no doubt. This is going to come to light by the next episode. I also think Bob is going to be dead by the next show as well.

Finally, why did they jump into a zombie infested basement filled with foul water? Would the food even be edible? Doubt it. I think they could have done that scene differently and better.

since most of the food are in can, they're still edible, they don't want to wast bullets and make noise to attract more zombies to the food bank.

But they could have found a pointy stick and thinned out the herd.

I think bob is gonna get the last laugh if he got bit by a underwater severed head. If he got tainted theres a reason the meat tasted so goood!

It does appear like Bob at least thought he got bit and was saying his goodbyes. We can only hope that Gareth and his crew will be affected by that but who knows. How common are delayed deaths after bites? It seems like most of the time the person turns fairly quick although the majority of zombie kills we've seen are from zombies eating them and not just from a bite.

I think the cannibalism thing is doing what they "need" to survive (they could have been nomads/hunter gatherers) by eating people, but also a combo of their blind revenge on what the world has become. It's not like they even seemed to care about taking in any new comers that they thought could benefit them in any way. They ate everybody, regardless of who or what they were.

The reverend is an interesting guy. I think this show has pretty much pointed out and proven, nobody is 100% safe in this world. At some point, you come into contact with something that's dangerous, whether it's walkers or humans.

It's 99.99999 unlikely that he hasn't had any encounters up to this point. The whole "you will burn for this" thing kind of implies he did some sketchy shiz to be around at this point given the fact he doesn't have any weapons or seem to have any desire to fight.

I think the guy on the Talking Dead got it right when he guessed that the reverend locked himself in the church with all the canned food while the shitstorm outside raged on. He didn't let anyone in so he's feeling a bit of guilt but he has been truthful to the group in that he hasn't told any lies.

I'm assuming the markings on the tress are from the Termites but who are they leaving them for? Others that got separated from the group?

Seems the most obvious answer and is what I guessed as well.

It took me a bit to figure out what the hell Bob was doing going out on his own, but after the tears I had to guess he was infected somehow which is weird because he did not seem impacted physically in any way.

Overall I thought it was another solid episode and again I have to applaud them for moving things along. I certainly expected the story of the Terminus guys to take a lot longer to come to a head, or a foot as it were.

Still, people eventually would come across the church. They'd see nobody was there and think it was a solid place to camp out for a bit. They'd see the reverend...blahblahblah there's still no way he's just been locked inside that place with food and not dealt with any conflict. Even the farm house in the middle of no where got over run after just a few months.

While a bite may be quicker, remember that even a scratch from a walker can do you in.

Yeah fair enough but if that's the case, I expected they would show something. It's not like The Walking Dead is subtle. Seeing him go out and cry by himself in the woods just seemed stupid without letting us know he was hurt.

Well I think when he started to cry it became apparent that he knew he was done for. May they were trying to go for surprising?

Probably right, I just did not think it was all that effective.

I just assumed he was bit as soon as he surfaced. It seemed to be written all over his face. As for being impacted physically, it's been less than 24 hours. Fever probably hasn't even kicked in yet.

I didn't even notice his leg missing until the guy said something about eating him. Then I had to rewind it.

Horrible for a preacher to do, but at the same time...look at what has happened with literally every other holdout that has let a new group in their camp. 100% collapse rate, always. Hershel's farm, the Governer's town, Rick's jail, the cannibal's Terminus, etc. There is no safe haven in this world.

That's why I'm thinking there's a tie-in with the mortuary group. The house Beth & Darryl stayed at was super-clean, just like the church...the canned foods were opened cleanly & arranged nicely, the preacher's outfit was clean & pressed, the church was spotless...something is fishy here. Maybe the mortician's car collects people seeking safe haven at the church (perhaps that the preacher considers sinners due to armageddon?), and in return the preacher gets food & protection.

Nah, why was he out and about? He ran out of food.

That's the most obvious reason...his story checks out. He let everyone die & protected himself, so he has to live with that guilt now. He was obviously not equipped to deal with zombies, especially the ones he knew like glasses & pearls girl in the water.

HOWEVER - that mortician car was driving by pretty close to his pad. And both the mortuary & church were spotlessly clean. Maybe it's the obvious explanation, maybe not...Rick isn't giving him much trust, so I'm curious to see how they play it out.

Wtf was the A on the wall supposed to mean? A for Alex, Gareth's brother? Who is with Darryl - Morgan? I hope so. Also Beth is on talking dead next week. Is she a goner? Haha

Or maybe carol and darryl went rambo on the people who took beth and rescued some other people?
