If they killed Glen off, I'm done with this show. Out of the very few likeable characters left, he's the most likeable one.

The premise of the show is exactly that you could see a beloved character die. This isn't Everyone Loves Raymond.... It is a show that has to somehow loosely follow a web comic while also having it's own unique spin. It is set in a post apocalyptic world where anyone can die at anytime due to their new environment.

I'd take that over the same tired characters any day.

The writers of this show are freaking geniuses at the little things... and that is what keeps viewership growing.

I agree with your post until the very end. Sure, they're great at the little things, except when it comes to "little things" like lone, seemingly silent walkers who are able to surprise random throw-away characters just enough to take a bite out of their carotid artery. Not to mention other situations where a herd traveling at 1-2 MPH appears out of nowhere in a flash, yet no one hears a sound until it's too late, or has the ability to see it coming before the herd is like 10 feet in front of them.

Plot twist - He didn't die, however he will die 1000000% soon cuz he died in the COMIC. R.I.P Glenn. Top 3 Best character in the walking dead for me ;_;

I liked him at first until the show seemed to force the relationship between him and Maggie down our throats with some ridiculous "encounter" scenes that supposedly built their chemistry during a season that I still consider the weakest of the series.
This. Yes he deserved to die, and I hope he burns in hell!

Why do you keep calling it a web comic?

Habit mostly... Have gotten most of my comic stuff online for years. My bad. You have to also remember that there is a web comic/webisode that AMC produced in relation to the T.V. series.

By "little things" I wasn't talking about where they overlook those sort of details... They don't bother me too much as I can easily remember I'm watching something based on fantasy and a comic that really doesn't dwell much on those sorts of details to begin with.

What I meant... I like how the writers tie things together. The mentality of the individual characters... The development of the characters across seasons, the subtle ties to previous seasons, subtle dialog that gets lost on some but hints at the past or the future. I have to think they employ writers that have psychology degrees. Not only to enhance the writing in the aspect of the characters but also to get the right reactions and addiction from the viewers. Very well done.

This show is getting weak. Other than Glenn getting possibly eaten, the whole episode was a throw away. Which is sad when you think of how many people got killed in it, but because anyone outside the group has absolutely piss poor character development I didn't bat an eye with how many from the town didn't make it. I didn't care about any of them, and frankly didn't even know some of their names.

Not entirely sure why some have a great big boner about the writers of this show... they're not doing a good job developing characters anymore.

They have a core group of characters, and it is shocking when one of the dies. It really sucks when they die a meh death. Glen was one of the most zombie wise people in the first season. He should of been able to escape up to the roof of a building. For the last few seasons there was no chracter building for a large cast. When this happens the show starts to suck fast.

i think part of it was that he was with nicholas and trying to help him as well. had it been glen by himself, then he might have done something different to survive.

Pretty sure he's not coming back. In an interview with EW, the actor who plays Nicholas talks about shooting the scene and discussing it with other crew members:

— we were all chatting about this moment and this final farewell to a man who had just so graciously, almost to a fault, saved Nicholas’s life. We wanted to keep it a little ambiguous,

well, there goes the ambiguity.

Glenn didn't even save Nicholas' life. so it was all for nothing.
Must be talking about the time Nicholas tried to kill Glenn in the woods and Glenn saved his life by not killing him right there. Also it allowed for Nicholas to try to redeem himself from all the dumb cowardly crap he had been doing.

There are only two ways Glenn isn't done for:

1.) Nicholas fell on top of Glenn and the show gave a misleading view of who the zombies were eating. I don't think this was the case but I'm not gonna rewatch the scene.
2.) Glenn comes back as a Samuel L. Jackson drinking cyborg.

FYI: http://screencrush.com/the-walking-dead-glenn-lives-negan/

- Evasive language on Talking Dead when speaking about Glenn's death
- Fact that Glenn isn't eaten by zombies in comics
- Actor seen on set in costume with other characters that haven't been introduced yet
- Actor recently renewed contract

He isn't dead.

That could be because of flashbacks, or Maggie going nuts. Lori had a couple more appearances on the show after she died and Rick was losing his marbles. In fact didn't a whole bunch of dead cast members come back for an episode when Tyreese was hallucinating?
