Aaron is a two steps above a red shirt. He's a recurring character like Scotty or Sulu.
I really would hate it to be Aaron because I would think he would be a cheap way out. Aaron really isn't one of the main characters. He is more like a red shirt on Star Trek.
They were shouting Glenn Glenn, however the audio was fake.Sugarpop has slowed down the audio and you can hear the people form Rick's group yelling out a name. You can Google it to find out who's head was at the end of the bat.
I feel there's a traitor in Rick's group. Could be Jesus, could be Enid. Enid gave Maggie the pickles before she got sick and has been spending time with her....
I liked most of the episode, until they wimped out at the end and didn't show what they've been building up to. We should be talking about the ramifications of Rick's actions and how it got "insert character" killed and how bad ass Negan and his group is, but all we're talking about is how lame they made the end...
I don't think most people care at this point. That, and the bullshit cliff hanger was so egregious that it overshadows everything else.That's what pissed me off the most. They introduced this major villain to the show, and have been telling us we've seen nothing like him before. We should be talking about what they're going to do for revenge on Negan and how they can get out of the situation (not the being on their knees in the field but the fact Negan has them by the short hairs) and instead the only things getting talked about really are: how bad the ending was and who got wacked. Such a miss.. I still say I should only be mad at myself as I should have known they'd fuck it up.
Obviously Negan wanted to capture them alive and aside from the entire "how could they know they were desperate to get to Hilltop and they just won't turn around" thing, who in the world wouldn't assume that Rick and his marauders wouldn't shoot their way through the first small and lightly manned roadblock? Before this episode if you asked anyone "What would Rick do" in that situation I don't know anyone who wouldn't assume that he'd kill everyone and keep on going.

And the first road block was so light, he could have overtaken it easily by turning around, dismounting and attacking by surprise -- a dozen of them just killed a few dozen Saviors recently.
I'd only rush him if he picked me. At the point when they were on their knees there were no good options, except not getting picked and living.

What wasn't clear is if they were also blocking their way back. I also thought that fighting the first group might have been a mistake because there could have been lots more waiting out of sight.
Which is also why everyone getting out of the r/v and walking up to them was completely idiotic/out of character and only served to force some inane dialogue on us. Why the hell would you get out of the r/v when a group of guys with guns (who you know is the enemy) is standing there and you have no idea what could be in the woods?
It was completely anti-Rick who they have shown blows people away without blinking. O hey... bad guys. Let's all get out and go talk to them. Hmm talking was boring... let's drive around some more! The Rick they force fed us all season would either have walked out of the r/v shooting or backed it out of there while a few of them sneak out to ambush the Saviors. The Rick they gave us in the finale was not the Rick they gave us all season.
Um... They didn't get out of the RV to walk up to Negan's group... They let Eugene take the RV and were trying to sneak through road blocks.

While everyone on the last two pages is talking about who Negan killed and why they don't like the cliffhanger, you're talking about what happened in the first 5 minutes of the episode.
