Sorry. "Bad writing" makes a LOT more sense. You give them too much credit.
You're moving the goalpost. I wasn't arguing whether the whole episode had good or bad writing. On the contrary, I was merely pointing out that your Rick was not at all like Rick was not factual.
That scene was sloppy, sure, but I wouldn't argue that the entire episode or that sequence of roadblocks had been bad writing. I am curious if that series of actions was ripped out of the comic series or the writers' own creation.
