People have to have something to bitch about. TWD appears to scratch that itch for lots of them.

I thought this was a good episode. The gore was almost over the top for me I have to admit, but I am ready to see where this new season leads.

I assume we are going to see Carol/Morgan and King Ezekiels group eventually team up with Ricks' dwindling crew in Alexandria to provide much needed muscle and firepower for that season ending cliffhanger battle.

She ran across one of Negan's cronies who she shot, then ran off. Then Morgan spotted one of Robert Baratheon's lost soldiers (guy on horse wearing armor) as well so he followed them. The Negan cronie she shot eventually found her and shot her in the arm. We get to meet Robert and his marry men and lion soon.

By the way, in all seriousness this leader with a pet lion looks really stupid

you guys complaining about the show being repetitive should have stopped a long time ago. the comic is the same way. its always find safe place, meet bad guy/group, have battle, move to new area, rinse, repeat.

Yes, agreed, I'm not a big horror fan, just an occasional watcher, no big loss for me to stop watching.

According to the comics, HillTop + Alexandria + The Kingdom will all team up in a war against the Saviors. The show has stuck to the overall plot line of the comics, so that is most likely what is going to happen. Lots of people going to die this season if they do the full war this season.

Of course there are a ton of differences between the comics and show. Most of them related to deaths/roles.

For reference off the top of my head. Here are some death/role differences for recent stuff.

Comics Carol/Andrea. Carol is dead in comics and Andrea is alive and a butt kicker. In the show they have it reversed, but basically the same character really.

Abraham died earlier in the comics and was the one shot through the back of the eye by Dwight instead of the fat nurse girl. Who wasn't a named character in the comics.

Glenn was the one originally smashed by Negan. However this last show made up by having Negan smash both Abraham and Glenn.

Judith is dead in the comics back in the prison, but is still alive.

Sarah, Carol's daughter, is still alive in the comics and is Carl's "love" interest for a bit. Although Enis is fulfilling that role now. A character not in the comics.

Morgan is dead in the comics already, so probably is going to die soon.

Of course Rick has a missing hand in the comics too at this point.

Carl is also much younger in the comics.

Fine with me. On Once Upon a Time, Captain Hook has a hook for a hand but it's clearly over his original hand due to length of the arm. Doesn't look great but he wouldn't be Captain Hook otherwise.

Unless they are turning Rick into Ash from Evil Dead, whatever.

Hmm. It would probably do me good to watch the last couple episodes of last season, I guess, haha. Thanks. And yeah I totally agree on the lion dude. I mean, it is a show about zombies so who knows what you're gonna see, but still, I just think it's a little lame/weird/wtf.

TWD has already been renewed for next season. I think this season will be about getting the broken Rick back into shape mentally for next season. Last season they already set up Eugene making bullets for Ricks group and other explosives they need to fight Negan's group. Two major characters will die before the season ends. The war will be all of the next season. I have not read the comics.
